So do I. Maybe they can work them into regular rotation. Like 1 a week on the right side of the header or something with a little blurb about it when it was created and used. That would be a nice trip in the wayback machine.

Yeah, not sure why he doesn't rotate them. They're all pretty cool. At the very least, maybe put some old ones up on anniversaries and other related occasions.

The beginning of the Start menu era.

I think it tool like 5 major versions of the OS before they removed the word "Start" from the menu button and changed it to the Windows icon (Windows Vista?).
But even to this day (and after they removed the menu in Windows 8), we all still call it the Start menu.

Same here. I'm in the minority for not being a big fan of the Nolan flicks with Bale. I'm definitely a big fan of West > Keaton > Afleck. I love watching those cheesy 1960s Batman tv shows. The actors really nailed the characters, too. I mean, Cesar Romaro, Bergess Meredith, Vincent Price, Carolyn Jones, Anne Baxter, etc, etc, come on now!

While I was excited about the announcement of this game (because I really enjoyed the first 2 back in the day), I have this feeling that it just won't keep my attention for long (like Divinity Original Sin 2).

That's been pretty much the nature of pc gaming for years, hence the nice bonus when upgrading your hardware. On the other hand, console ports took away that bonus.

Facebook has turned into the virtual cesspool of the world. What started with a good idea became a platform for hate, intolerance, self-entitlement, disinformation, and prejudice. I can't imagine any software/hardware having a requirement to create a Facebook account. It looks like the Index will be on the Steam top 10 list again

If organizations just implement Anti-Harassment policy and Complaint procedure (I mean, most have them now), then it would not be an issue. There are training/guidelines and procedures that are easy to follow. I'm not sure why it's so difficult for some organizations. It's fairly standard now.

Second, reporting harassment can be even more traumatizing than the harassment itself, so if people think a person is just trying to "cancel" another person for other reasons, you're wrong. The various steps that an org and the people involved have to take is very draining and stressful, and usually costs the org a lot of time and money. So put a f'n policy and procedure in place!

Avoiding to hire people who you think are "most likely to file a complaint" is the most idiotic recommendation I've heard yet.

This isn't a sexual thing. This isn't sexual attraction or "can't guys look at women?" situation. It's the hunger for power and attention, which just means they're extremely insecure. Unfortunately for them, power over a woman doesn't work that well anymore (the 1950s are long gone). I think they just need to stick with trying to be the smartest person in the room. At least that side effect can be of use.

and watch the latest update have the feature "sync your clipboard with other computers in the cloud" turned on by default. And no way to turn off clipboard history without going into the registry.

I can definitely understand this guy's pain. I've been cooking for years and when I see people cook like this, it freaks me out!

I'm just going to wait until I get a PS5 to play it. I have it for PS4 but I struggled to play it because of the lag and how it made the PS4 sound like a turbine engine (constant fans maxing out rpms). On the other hand, I didn't think the game was anything special. The stealth part of the gameplay was kind of, eh (I've already played Odyssey and they do the stealthy part way better). Also, some of the boss fights were the kind where you have to spam and roll (and die) until you find the specific way to kill them. I'm not the biggest fan of that style of game. But it definitely looks good, and the story seemed ok (if you can get passed Aloy's weird face).

Steam's features haven't been very stable over the past few months because of the pandemic. None of my game updates auto install anymore. I suspect that they're throttling in some regions. Other features like chat are also having issues. And don't get me started on the streaming. It's basically useless right now because of the latency, so I'll typically use Discord. There's hardly any latency when streaming through Discord.
