Tough call...one place(N. Korea) that has a missle that hasn't been tested yet that could hit the west coast or another place(Iraq) that had biological and chemical weapons(and used them on their own people) that all of a sudden disappear. If place #2 doesn't have the weapons anymore then I go with choice number 3, the place/group that now has the weapons #2 gave them is the real threat

Hell I use a dremel for my birds nails. Having a parret that needs her nails clipped alot does get expensive($20 a pop). Plus using a dremel seems to have less of a chance of making the bird bleed which is bad due to the fact that birds blood doesn't clot very good. I agree with Blue...I love my dremel.

Thinking about King and the Dark Tower series...did you guys read Hearts in Atlantis? This novel does give a small insight into what is going on on the bad guys' side of the dark tower story. Hearts in Atlantis wasn't his best work but it was worth it to read until the dark tower reference and then throw it away.

On a side note, another story of King's to read if one likes the dark tower books is The Eyes of the Dragon. This story was written to prove to his kids that he could write a story that wasn't horror. Nothing like his other books but I feel its one of his best.

So far my favorite newer fantasy author has been RA Salvatore. Try The Dark Elf Trilogy(Homeland, Exile, Sojourn) which I feel is some of his best work.

AYE!!!

Get some rest Blue! We all know you need it.

As for the trolls, we can have someone like Mike or Ray moderate the boards for us.

I would have to agree with Rseman on this subject. Too many idiots would ruin the rating system because of some vandetta against a company, programmer, or type of game. I would use the rating scale like I currently use these boards. Look for the few posters I feel contribute to the conversation with information to help me decide if I should try the game, software, or hardware in question. If the rating system got put in place I would still only value those I felt I would trust with said rating.

Exactly. Until the courts show some responsibilty and start throwing this rubbish out, or better yet, fining people who make absurd lawsuits, BS like this will continue forever.

We the jury find the lawyer guilty of wasting our time and tax payer money. We here by remove the lawyer's license and fine the lawyer and client double of the court fees to reimburse the tax payers for a waste of time and money...

Maybe, but the people on this planet need a good kick in the ass all 'round and discover this little thing called "responsibility." These 2 teenagers better wake-up real fast.

Why should they learn responsibility? There is "always" someone else to take the blame and give them money for not being responsible.

Yes it is pathetic, but it doesn't surprise me. Have you guys ever watch the TV show Street Smarts(think this is the correct name). The idea is that the contestants wager on weither or not a random person picked from the street will correctly answer a question. On this game show, you get wrong answers to who fought in the French and Indian War or who fought in the US Civil War.

Here in my local area, a radio talk show person made a similar discover of how poor the US knowledge of history. He made up a very simple 10 question survey and did a random survey in the downtown area. Over 50% failed(granted it doesn't represent all of america because of the sample size and general location of the sample).

As for proof-reading a paper...doesn't that mean just simply hitting the spell check?

Blue,

Wonder if you had the same type of bird as I did when the same thing happen to my wife and I. We were living upstairs in a two family apartment at the time and heard a loud hit on the roof. As I was going to investigate, I saw a hawk about the size of a crow(maybe a bit bigger) sitting on the fence and a dead pigeon on the ground. After having a staring contest with the bird for a few seconds(without a window inbetween) the bird picked up the pigeon and left. Our neighbor came out after the hawk flew away and informed me that it was a Chicken Hawk.

Yet again, so many people say the president is unfit and I again would have to agree with the president. This is another stupid move from the courts. While the courts are at it, lets take out the word god on the dollar bills, any where in the Constitution, Declaration of Independence or any other historic document for that matter that has the word god.

What gets me is where in the Constitution does it say separation of church and state (I did a search on the Constitution and could not find the word church in it).

Lets take Amendment I:
Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. (sited from http://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/constitution.table.html#amendments)
As I can tell, the gov cannot pass a law respecting an establish religion. So I guess the quote, “One nation under God” is a law respecting a religion? If so what religion? I don’t see the pledge saying, “one nation under Christian’s God” or “one nation under Baptist God”. So how is having the two words “under God” breaking my constitutional rights? Oh that is right. I forgot. Way back when they first starting worrying about the separation of church and state, they asked one of the founding fathers (Thomas Jefferson I think…have to check up on that) what was meant and he sent back a letter to the courts with the words “separation of church in state”. Taking simply those 5 words and you can make an argument for the stupid laws lately but if you end up reading the whole letter, you would get a whole new meaning to that statement and how it is being used. If I can find it, I’ll post a link so you can read it.

On a side note, here is a very interesting look at the pledge: http://ncmason.org/book1/PLEDGE2.HTM

As much as I agree this guy is a loser, comments like that is only going to make him flame some more. Bad enough we're trying to get rid of his/her type of comments, we don't need these type of comments either

Its getting to the point that I going to start setting my preferences so I don't see anonymous post anymore.

anon@12.238:
You say blue needs to get a life. People like you that don't have the intelligence to give an useful post to a discussion on a web site needs to get a life. This site appeals to one of the largest media groups in the world. That my loser is not gay. Hell, back up what you say. Post a few sites you have created and lets see what kind of web sites you think are worthy of my time to read.
