I just bought and been playing the android version of FF6. Very well done port even with the odd control scheme. I recommend it if you have a droid device and love the series.

If I remember right, they could transform before earth. They simply took forms of earth objects(cars, trucks, guns, etc...) after they were reactivated on earth.

If you do get bad gas, we give our dogs a 1 table spoon of yogurt every meal. That cuts down on it quite a bit on our dogs.

Keep an eye on Supreme Commander then. It looks to blow C&C3 out of the sky anyway...

Why is it someone does something great and it takes less then 5 posts for someone to bash it?

Having a child that has spent a great amount of time at the hospital, the service Child's Play does is nothing short of great. I only wished more people would do things like this. The joy they have brought to kids can not be measured.

Guess I'll pick this game up over the weekend. Should hold me over nicely until Christmas time since I can only put in limited time on my PC each week. I saw an interview with Stan Lee a few days ago and he gave very high praise to this game.

Imagine that, a company that does something nice for their customers that have supported them and people are bitching about it.

This doesn't look like a ploy to get new customers but instead keep the ones they already have. Counting we don't know what the new bonuses are we really can't say if its something done nicely for the customers or a half ass attempted.

Ads wouldn't bother me if they make sense. Playing sports games where ads are all over makes sense to me. Playing a game like 2142 set a 100 yrs from now showing an ad for the TV show 24 does not make sense at all. Hell half these games have a hard enough time keeping lag out of their network code and now we are adding one more layer of complexity on top of the mess. I'm all for a company making money but I think this time its going the cheap and easy route instead of stepping back and seeing that the crappy games they release is the reason they are not making true money. Fix the problem...don't ignore it.

One thing I always liked about Nintendo is their willingness to fix what they sell. A friend of mine bought an original copy of The Legend of Zelda about 2 yrs ago from ebay. Received it and found out the battery that kept the save games was dead. Called up Nintendo and they fixed it for only the cost of shipping.

As it is right now, the ESRB is a joke and is worthless to people buying games.

Yeah, ESRB is completely worthless. I have a better idea, lets get rid of the voluntary system the Game industry decided to use and lets spend more tax money creating a government department that will then rank the ESRB </sarcasm>

Are you honestly that fucking stupid? ESRB is there because the gaming industry decided to create a rating system themselves instead of having the government step in and do it themselves. Is the system perfect? No but it does give a decent guideline for parents to follow. Not every parent plays games and this is one way to help them decide if they want to buy it for little Sally or little Johnie. Just because you feel its a waste of time doesn't mean its not useful to others.

I personally ignore the rating system for my boys because I keep up on the gaming world and find out my on opinion on games through many sources. Some of my friends do not keep up with the gaming world and having something like the ESRB helps them decide on a game or not.

Getting back on track, if this is a mod where someone changed a texture then no, this does not warrent a change in ESRB ratings. I hope ESRB rethinks this position and realize that this is too slippery of a slope to go down and realize that this has ramifications beyond a simply rating change. I fear this will make developers think twice about putting games on PC's and/or making games less modable(sp?) just so they don't have to worry about losing sales due to a higher ESRB rating.

We need a new section of Blue's called "Rampant Fanboi-ism"...

Works for me nin. I at least admit I'm a Nintendo Fanboy. Always have been since I started playing Mario Bros. at the arcade. I've enjoyed games made from Nintendo for most of my life so why wouldn't I want to have them continue making games for me. Name me another company that has have that type of track record for that long in the gaming industry. Bet there isn't too many still around...

I almost agree with you Jaenos(by the way I'm 27). Some of what Nintendo does I don't want them to change. The way they have developed the Mario, Zelda, and Metroid series so far have been great. Don't mess with that formula. What I want them to do though is bring in the 3rd parties more. Games like Skys of Arcadia and Tales of Symphonia where some of the better gaming experiences I've ever had.

By bringing in the 3rd party companies, Nintendo itself doesn't have to grow up but allow the other companies to come in and give that group of players the type of games they want.

I'm just wondering who is dumb enough to keep fronting money for the dev team to keep working on this project? Seriously, who is stupid enough to keep pumping money into a game studio that has been working on the same game for nine years and hasn't produced anything?

Probably the same dumb asses that pumped money into the Phantom System.

If Supreme commander is only half as good as Total Annihilation was then its going to be better the most of the RTS games that have come out in the last 5 yrs. TA is still my favorite RTS of all time and the reason why I love these types of games.

If it happens more than once, it's a bladder infection, and it's Vet time...

nin is right, if it continues to happen it could be an infection. If it is an infection, I would recommend getting a crate to put them in with a catbox for the period of the meds. It sucks but will work out for the best. Also recommend Natural's Miracle for getting the cat piss smell out.

That does suck to hear about the jerk of a dog owner. Being a owner of a male boxer, I guess I'm lucky that most people for some reason think boxers are mean so they give us a lot of room. My dog love to play with other dogs so its hard to find a play mate but on the other hand I don't get the chance to have your issue either. Luckily my dog classes paid off and Beau(our boxer) listens very well to me and will stay right at my hip for any quick get aways from any potential bad encounters. And its amusing to watch people's reactions to him.

Well here's hoping you find a better place to take your dog.

One bonus I will give Palmer is he is a student of the game still. He watches and learns, he sees what other QB's are doing and trys to take the best from them, etc.

As for beating Manning, you are right. No one will. Bengals gave it the best shot in my opinion and if we would have stopped them a few times that game would have turned out very interesting. At least that was a lost that was very fun to watch and luckily with such a young team we have I will get to watch more of those games down the line.
