Have to say that as good as the last mod was with UT that I'd pay for the same game in UT2k3...

My first thought was companies like netflix where they wouldn't want the DVD to expire.. aren't these really catching on in the US?

And not one mention of Fable yet??? Although I wish it was for PC too... weird, Trailer says exclusive to XBOX and gamespy has it listed in it's PC section???

Of course the shows not over... I haven't heard any word of Quake IV yet! (and with all the updated Quake III engine games mentioned I won't believe it if there's not an announcement for it!)

I've got to say that I'm really enjoying the demo too (fp subscriber)... for all you technical types who get tired of the PC getting wonder victories or maybe want to try the Assassin Mode or other option in the demo then you may want to look at the file autostart.ini.

The game just gets better and better. You really have to use the market to get an edge, the battles are great.. I can't wait to get the proper edition because I hear the background music is great (demo doesnae have any). It adds quite a bit to the traditional mix while not anything ground breaking, it's just polish. It plays great, feels great and is fun. I'm definitely buying this one on day one. Just playing against the PC shows already what great promise it's MP will have.

I'm interested in this one as well... the RON trial is a great demo and offers lots of playability but hardly anything on it?? I was looking forward to discussing this game with peoples...

Agree with the first poster as well... That first DivX trailer for this game looked absolutely jaw dropping! Yes, Doom3 looked good, but I've seen so much other stuff that looks "close"... Homeworld 2 just looks absolutely beautiful!

doubt it... they'll be doing as many ideas for this as they could for the "sim"psons... I bet they're using the simpsons for ideas... next thing that'll be out is "The Sims" - Out of this world... or "The Sims - Afterlife"... or "The Sims - The Cartoon Character Edition"...

Agree... the movie is definitely a must see in the theatre... kicks off the whole summer blockbusters thing just right. Much better than any superhero movie I've seen in a very long time...

Have to say as someone who has actually been stationed on an aircraft carrier (2 and a half years on the USS George Washington) that these pilots know what they're doing. Crashes during take off and landing are almost non existant. The risk was probably no greater than letting him walk on a flight deck... a lot more injuries there...

Still think they should have taken this one step further and allow the server mods to say what client side mods they want (with file checking)... they could check which mods that they have they want others to be able to use on their server...

well... Has much changed out of the box? ... if not then i might give it the ole download and try program... if I'm still playing in a week then it's good and I'll buy. If like so many other games I play once and it doesn't grab me then I'll add/remove programs...

I was just about to ask if they used the team fortress mod as their standard multiplayer for Half Life 2??? Or are they trying to have many "editions"??

I don't normally rant about games but.... decent constructive side??? I mean this game has everything ... a mix of empire earth in regards to time lines, the graphics and gameplay of AOE series, Civilisation boundaries and resources thrown in... the city idea is impress... capturing and controlling cities and expanding borders.. every civ has it's own art... 18 NATIONS!!! Graphics change with time ... upgraded units have visible differences... not to mention polish with things never before seen like finally being able to set a rush timer... the polish is already getting to me and I haven't seen it... the only thing I don't like about the game is they didn't accept me as a beta tester!!!
