I understand they add content. I just think they need to have an hourly rate to play instead of a flat monthly fee for people who want to get on just for three to five hours a week.
Now, I'm a gamer. I love gaming. Unfortunately I have a job, a wife, and a child on the way. I still manage to get in 5-6 hours of gaming a week. I don't spend all my time on one game.
I really want to be able to play City of Heroes and World of Warcraft. The concepts of these games seem great and really well polished. I just cannot justify spending $50 on a game that I have to continually top up and pay another $15/month. Someone really needs to come up with a pricing model for us gamers with jobs where the $50 gets you three months of average play time and then you can pay to play after that.
The weirdest bug I have that no one has mentioned in all the BF games is that I invert the mouse and when I die, the ability to move around and scan the area is not inverted.
Anyone else notice this???? Very, very annoying as when you get used to playing one way the other makes you want to get sick.
epic released this game to all platforms at (almost?) the same time. Do you really see epic doing a Windows XP Extras program?? I really see a lot of April fools commenting on this.
Anyone here know of any good AMD motherboards (AMD 2400+) that have more than the normal 2 IDE controllers? I don't want to get rid of all my 80G IDE drives and am needing to upgrade my MB anyways and don't want to buy a PCI IDE controller if I don't have to, but I've already had to take out my DVDROM to make room for my hard drives.
I have to say that this is one game I will wait until a patch or two has been released to try. I remember all the similar problems with BF1942, but they did eventually iron them out.
What I am saying is that by us not stopping this now that this is where it will lead to. This is obviously the next step, teenagers who are having so many issues with their own image and what is acceptable will see that is acceptable for this.
If we all keep thinking it is acceptable to be gay then when half the population is gay we will have to take notice that our teens may be gay.
When I was growing up it was no kids of hte opposite sex in the bedroom. Soon it'll have to be no other kids in your bedroom.
Can't you see this? It's not about curing or disowning. I just don't think society should encourage and support it.
So you, lover of fine lesbian porn, will grow up thinking that it is alright for your young daughter to sleep with her friends... Are sitting there thinking about that right now aren't you?
By not drawing the line somewhere we are saying that it is acceptable.
I have to say I am against gay marriage. I know they deserve equal rights and I think civil unions should give them those rights. Marriage should be between man and woman. Face it, if it wasn't for religion then we would all just have civil unions. Marriage is a religious ceremony.
My main gripe with this though is that I do not want my children growing up and thinking that it is OK for two people of the same sex to be married. It is a personal issue, but I believe most of the people who feel strongly about this feel the same way.
