wow... the first and the last screenshots look awesome! The first looks like your villagers can actually run from the animals and hide in the trees so you can save them.
I never picked it up, but love RTS and have a pretty decent machine... is this game worth giving some time to?
Saw it for $15 at Best Buy... just checked froogle and that's still the price, bestbuy.com.
Died several times, liked the graphics, liked the gameplay. It was a lot of fun as well as challenging. The stories seem to be great fantasy fiction fare as well. Think I'll be picking this one up.

I really wanted this game to be good. I wasted so much lawnmowing money on this game! I'd settle for just a good diabloesque hack and slash based on this game!

My PCGamer DVD didn't work this time... first time I actually wanted to use the damn thing... go figure. It locked up my entire machine. All I wanted was to try the DS2 demo.
Not interested either... Haven't like most movies based off of games.
Gun looks refreshingly original. It looks like a game you could just "enjoy" for the hell of it.
I'm looking forward to giving it a try. Really enjoyed the original and the mods.

It does sound refreshingly original and also fun for all ages. After seeing the differences in the sea life in snorkling and diving in the Caribbean vs the Med vs the Indian Ocean this could be pretty good.

Not really when you consider this may be the only 4 hour session they get all week. I think the revised $695 is still great, but as an IT consultant these rates are in line with what we get and we're more likely to maintain work than these voice actors.
