I actually disagree. If this is how the retailers decide what they're going to order/sell, then they must seriously miss the mark. This may have worked for a less mature gaming crowd, but the demographic has seriously changed. Previews will generate buzz about a game and help determine if it's worth reading a review later, but most people won't buy a game just off of the buzz. A demo and good review"s" are necessary... at least I hope this is somewhat true...
