That 7/11 site gave me cancer

Enjoy the 'snapchat' generation.

People say that as if we're not the generation that gave us Angelfire/Geocities sites, The Hampster Dance, Hello My Future Girlfriend, and Tom Green movies.

ALL OF WHICH WERE AWESOME!!!

Admit it, Beamer, you just secretly yearn to be a Millenial.

I read your comment earlier, and thought you had a good point (perhaps could have been worded better). It probably would have gotten a different reaction if the protagonists were men.

Men already have swords, all they are looking for is a hilt to put it in

True Fact:

Getting the band back together does not mean they will recapture the magic they once had.

Who would have thought that something like Minecraft would be worth a few billion?

I'm excited and looking forward to it.

That Trevor guy is a real piece of work. He missed his calling as a politician.

I feel sorry for his family. Maybe he scammed them into believing he was a real human being too?

So instead of going after the guy being a douche, you bring family into it?

And human nature isn't exactly warm fuzzies and hugs.

And most bad people come from bad families so it's not often a stretch.

Based on what? Yeah he's an asshole but how far removed is it to talk shit about his family, and devs getting death threats to their families? At the end of the day my actions, good or bad, is my choice, and to blame my family members for my actions is ignorant.
Is the best insult we can come up with is to attack his family?

Ok the game is going F2P.... but why would it take more work when you could just give out the game for free.

So question is, what version of the game are people getting? It sounds like micro-transactions are coming.

Many thanks, for many years.

Question.... can we get a total of appliance disasters that have happened over the last 20 years?

Ya know a pic of you in one of those ancient Blues News shirts would be awesome... if you can convince the Smithsonian to let you borrow one... or was that from the Natural History Museum?

Here's the thing.

They don't have to support the game. The community will keep the game going for years to come with mods. Look at Fallout 3/NV and Skyrim.

And look at the DLC. Same as Skyrim. Make a few minor mods from the ideas the community are trying to turn into full mods (build a vault, play homes in skyrim) and put out 2 or 3 larger official mods (for both Skyrim and Fallout 4), and call it a day.

If it is, Bossland seems defiant, saying the California court has no jurisdiction over their German company

Yeah, that just seems like a waste of money there, Blizzard.

It is just your typical scare / bully tactics. They know they don't have jurisdiction.

I tend to think Blizzards team of liars (lawyers?) might know a little more about law than the average forum user.

The lawsuit starting in California is needed to start the process, the first step is taking down the YouTube videos that advertise the hack and how to use it going through California gets them this. Once they have that it is an easy step to then request the information of any users who uploaded videos of themselves using the hack, yes those exist. Once they have won in California they can then take the matter to German courts and go after the person or their company directly, it is the first step in a multi part process that will hopefully result in the cheat maker being shut down and enough information on their exploit to close it off and any others who may attempt something similar.

Reason for California is Bossland Hacks has parts of it's company now in California. Check out the story on Rock Paper Shotgun.

Yeah so D3 might be done (or have shitloads of grinding season's ahead of it), but as other's have said Blizzard is pretty large, so why leave the company?
I'm not trying to be argumentative, just more of if there were other projects going on why not move to those projects, or the other projects being worked on aren't that good to want to stick around at Blizzard? That's my concern.
They salvaged enough out of Titan to make Overwatch, D3 is pretty much done, as is Starcraft 2, and WoW has another expansion on the horizon... so were there other projects to work on or at they going into a "maintenance phase" with HotS, Hearthstone and Overwatch and not creating any new projects?

5 People, heck, let it be 20 people in the last few months. Considering how big Blizzard is and how attractive Blizzard still is for luring in new talent ... i dont think that "everyone" is jumping ship and that Blizzard therefore is in some kind of trouble. Its just the normal flux of people changing jobs.

Yeah it's not 'everyone' (congrats on being anal retentive), but when your top people are leaving it does NOT bode well. But when all your top talent leaves (especially the guy who 'fixed' Diablo 3) it's not a good thing.
