Ubisoft and EA could have done it.

Ubisoft with Bridge Crew (and could have DLC'd the hell out of it and I'll admit I would buy it).
EA with Star Wars (as there is already a Battlefront 1 or 2 VR mission).

Those two franchises alone could sell anything. Hell Star Wars branded Nvidia cards is more then the headsets.

I liked Stranger Things 2. Not quite as good as the first season, but still a highly tense and very enjoyable show. Very much looking forward to a third season (please, Netflix?)

Wow then she almost gets hit 3x running a red light. Snowflakes are amazing!

What makes her a snowflake?
And can you define it in a way that doesn't fit every single person here? I've seen you flip out on topics that don't really bother other people in a way that could define you as a snowflake.

Which isn't to defend her, I just don't get why people love that insult these days.

It's really isn't about that. It's how at times (especially in a vehicle) that they are a special little snowflake and that all of their problems are the center of the universe (yes I can translate for Batz, and he missed the /sarcasm to his post).

But as pointed out, look at her bumper, and realize it's in NYC.

I still come across the occasional user who goes "I just don't know how to use these dangfangled computers hahaha!"

Yeah, it's not funny anymore. It was cute back in the 90s. We're 20 years further down the road now. FUCKING LEARN OR GET OUT OF THE FUCKING WORKFORCE.

It's not like we're asking people to code a goddamned AI or something. Just some rudimentary knowledge on how to interact with Windows, the Internet and Office apps doesn't seem too much to fucking ask for.

Also, about that doctor:

“I had no choice,” she told Judge John Kissinger, who did not issue a ruling. The AP also noted that Konopka will see any patient who can pay her $50 in cash.

“If I close my office, they will be without medical care,” she also told the court. “Some of them need medications. Who will prescribe for them if I don’t have a license? I worry what will happen to them.”

If you see patients without a license, you're going to really quickly wind up in jail. And as for who will prescribe for them if you don't have a license? Other doctors WHO KNOW HOW TO USE A FUCKING COMPUTER.

Ok I'm gonna counter-point ya Creston. I've been using computer since the good old Ti-994a, can pretty much troubleshoot all my software/hardware and am pretty intuitive when it comes to software.
But you have NO CLUE how much I'd love to get a bunch of Blue'sers to come to Amazon and just help them work out the GUI/Streamline some of the software we use. Thankfully we use windows 7/10 (depending if you begged enough to get a non-shitty laptop at work), but we also use Zebra TC5 scanners for just about everything (if you ever go to a Amazon pick-up drop-off you'll even see them there) and they are horrible outdated android phones with a scanner.
So back to the doctor..... I have seen offices that use a combo DOS system and Windows, that after watching them use it for years (when I donated plasma twice a week for years...) that makes my asshole pucker up due to all the key combo's etc they have to use.
Now throw in say a more modern hospital that has digital files of ultra sounds, MRI's scans etc it can be very daunting. Hell even my ex the head of a hospital Cath Lab unit had to take a 3 week course when they went 80-90% digital.
But we also know that digital files are like the internet. You may screw up something, and catch/fix it later but once it's out there it's out there. So I agree with you and the others that someone who can potential kill you by accidentally giving you a 10mg perscription giving you 20mg (or worse) is not a good thing.

In and of itself the trailer is pretty over the top. There is no context to the trailer beyond MAYBE knowing it was for The Last of Us II, so it comes across (at least to me) as going for shock value.
I do remember seeing a trailer that had Elle (I think that's her name as I didn't get very far into the game and haven't had a chance to go back) playing a guitar in a room as the camera goes through a house of dead people. Now that trailer was great, had a good setup and payoff.

*shrugs* Maybe I'm just old now.

No, no I didn't. Your case is coming from self-hate and ignorance of the problem.

No sir ignorance is cherry picking what other's have said to fit your agenda and your own point of view.

But seriously, if we had Heroin centers, where people would show up and be given all the heroin they wanted, but couldn't leave and wouldn't be saved, how much better would it be in the US?
Money saved from trying to "fix the problem". Police/Fire/First Responders wouldn't be wasting time and resources. Hospitals wouldn't be wasting time/resources on it. Family members/loved ones would hurt, but it's better then getting "the phone call" as friends I know would call it (few of them have gotten it).

So the end result is money not wasted on people who don't want to get better, First Responders and Medical facilities won't have to waste their time and resources either. And we get rid of heroin use.

Hey Blue,
I will warn you, that with both my nephews first time to hibachi dining was great until the union volcano. It scared both of them so badly that we were doing a round robin on wiping away tears while the others tried to finish eating.
Suggestion: Let them know that there is going to be a big flame or flash.

And bring me back a doggie bag.

I might be totally wrong about this, but I thought the main idea behind switching to methadone was it could be tapered off without serious side effects -- unlike heroin. So, either I am misinformed -- very possible, or something is really wrong in that situation...

Methadone is as bad as heroin if not worse. Different people handle addiction in different ways. It's a control to the chaos, but from all the research I've seen, methadone is a bitch to come off of.
Thankfully I was never stupid enough to do them.

Now you take away my nicotine and Alieve, and you'll see me go ape-shit

Has nothing to do with ignorance. The only way to win the "War on Drugs" is to give people what they want. The sad truth is, that the "best" solution with opiates is to give them all they want, let them overdose. Quit wasting money on methadone clinics, narcan, emergency responders.

It's a draconian solution but once all the people are dead from using it, it no longer becomes a problem.
Redeye9 if you can come up with another one, I'm all ears.

Well, that's compassionate. Wry It was the fault of Pharma and doctors on the take that started this whole epidemic, what about their responsibility in at all? Some people have more addictive personalities than other or are easily addicted to certain things. And you've obviously never been hooked on a drug, legal or otherwise, and tried to kick it. It ain't easy.

Quit wasting money? Helping people isn't a waste. If you believe it is, than take that libertarian bullshit to its final end and dismantle the government entirely. No more infrastructure, just frontier living where if you can feed, clothe, and shelter yourself or die. We'll all go back to living as cavemen and dying before we're 30. So you'll be quitting Amazon tomorrow and going naked into the woods to forge weapons and tools to start your new life living off the land, right? Good luck with that. No? I didn't think so. If you want to start with cutting waste start with your almost TRILLION dollar a year miliary/intelligence budgets. Compared to EVERYTHING else in your budget that's the most wasteful thing there is beyond everything else combined. A good 3/4s of it us pure pork for the MIC and the various congress critters districts to create employment that would otherwise not exist.

Cutter, I am all for helping people, but at the same time people have to want to help themselves. Where I live in Kentucky (right across the river from Cincy), I see tons of people who 1)smoke pot, and pop out kids left right and center and then live off the government because they are white trash that couldn't be bothered to use a condom, and never try for anything to better their lives because the government will take care of them, while family members take care of their kids and 2) are meth and heroin junkies who are doing the same thing (hell I got a house next door with a junkie mom who has 3 kids and I lost count over the times the police and fire dept have been called due to drug issues over there).
Btw Cutter google "Parents who overdose in kids hospital room", and you'll see the kind of crap that goes on here. Mom dies, dad survived and the dad had a loaded gun in his pocket.
Maybe it's different for you because you don't see it daily, but people have choices.
Hell I fucked up my life 10 years ago THIS MONTH due to doing crystal meth, got out of my bad relationship with my ex of 15 years (who got me started with it) and rebooted my life. I literally left a job I fucking loved, all my friends, everything I owned, and started over, so PLEASE don't fucking tell me "good luck with that" because I FUCKING DID IT.
I have a neighbor who no longer does heroin, but sadly she's just as badly addicted to methadone, and goes daily to the clinic for her "medication" that keeps getting upped every month (she's been going for 5 years).
And earlier this year here in Northern Kentucky, we had over 300 heroin overdoses in Fri-Sun period when fentynal was starting to get mixed in.

Right now I'm on Destiny 2, Divinity OS2 and ELEX. Looking at The Evil Within 2 and Wolfenstein 2 and can't decide which one I am gonna buy next. I haven't played any Assassin's Creed after Black Flag and I wasn't planning to, but I gotta say I am surprised by how possitive everyone is about this one...

But hell if I do decide to get back into AC I might as well get into Syndicate first. I heard Unity was shit.

After Black Flag, play Rogue, then Unity. Rogue's ending is Unity's start. And both Rogue and Unity are solid entries into the AC universe.

I haven't seen anything 'grindy' per say, except your typical go find crafting materials to craft stuff. Hell I spent about 10 hours just futz'ing around the starting region (yeah an entire REGION) before even getting to the Title screen (most AC games give you a taste and set up a cinematic to show the title screen, like getting to the port in Black Flag).
And I REALLY like the crafting system. If I find a weapon or shield in the game, I can keep upgrading it so it's useful from the start of the game all the way till the end. So the pre-order weapons, and Uplay Club weapons aren't just the typical "These are only good for the first act" crap you get in pre-orders these days.
