This is part of the PC edition of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and the listing says the collection is required to play. However, Halo Reach is also being sold individually, which is a little confusing.

It wouldn't be Microsoft if they actually knew what they were doing.

it's just a messup on Steam's part, as you can purchase it seperatly.
So my only complaint is the sound. Some reason or another it seems like the full volume is on 60% at max.
Other then that it looks great for a game of it's age and the shooting is so much easier (for me) with a Mouse and Keyboard.

Interested in the reviews on this, but I fear it's going to be positive even if the port is shit due to nostalgia. I've never played Halo, so it'd be good to finally see what all the hype is about.

I was in the beta and it was very solid. If your on the fence grab the xbox pass and give it a whirl (has other games like Outer Limits too).

I'm planning on restarting my NMS adventures soon after recently having done a similar thing with my E:D adventures. I was really looking forward to carriers in E:D so when they got delayed it kind of drained my enthusiasm. I'm sure it will return eventually, but I'm excited to get back to NMS after having been gone for quite a while now. Being able to scrap a ship you no longer want sounds like a great QOL change. My big decision now is whether to start from scratch in NMS or restart my 800+ hour save...

I REALLLLLLLY want to get back into Elite but I have no fucking clue where to start anymore ( I didn't get very far).

But I'm going to dig into NMS, so hit my up on Steam (The Half Elf) cause I'd really like to dig into this as well.

It's even worse than not killing prisoners: we should give them college educations. Recidivism rates fall from 50% to 5% when you do that.

So you are saying if you want a paid for education that you should break the law and become a prisoner? What about the people trying to get that education without first becoming a prisoner?

Playing through it now, and while I'm not a huge fan of Dark Souls type combat (I have died more then any bothans could imagine), it's not a bad game.

Still hoping that Jedi Outcast/Jedi Knight get the RTX treatment.

Check out some streams of it before hand. It looked great until I saw some gameplay and was highly disappointed

I'm not sure if it was just me, but not sure if I somehow missed a huge part of the story or what in Bioshock Infinite, but the ending made no sense to me on how Booker was the father. And that being said i still need to finish Prey.

I Was the Fastest Girl in America, Until I Joined Nike.

As a distance runner, I can tell you that at some point in your training it becomes all about weight. You've done all your interval work, pace work, hill work, long runs, and recovery runs at the correct cadence, and you've maxed out your improvements. You're staying away from junk food (mostly) and eating the correct ratio of carbs to protein. And you're sleeping properly. After that, where is there left to go? I've lost 10 pounds in the past 4 months, and my critical power where i reach lactate threshold has increased from 275 to 304 watts. My VO2 max has also improved. So I see where Alberto is coming from, even if his shaming methods were absolutely wrong.

That said, it's unconscionable and dangerous to run the elite running program in the country without a sports psychologist or nutritionist. And you're coaching women with no female runners on staff? Also, recommending runners use banned substances? There's a reason this guy is banned from running and the Nike project was shut down.

You know you're worth extra points if you have blinking lights on while you're running right?

Gaming chairs *are* for wankers.

The smart thing is to buy a comfortable recliner and one of these coach keyboards that have space for a mousepad and you sit back and game while reclining on a laz-e-boy.

So can you hose that chair off or what?

Blizzard just doesn't have that "magic touch" to me anymore. It's kinda like Pixar. When you have to pump out squeals to everything ya loose what made it awesome in the first place.

J. Allen Brack is a career-minded, no-vision, corporate stooge. Classic wasn't even his decision. It was one of Mike's last major decision before his departure. If it were up to JAB, his infamous "you think you do, but you don't" would still be Blizzard's official response to fans wanting vanilla/classic WOW. They should've never put him in charge of Blizzard. I think ‎Jeff Kaplan would've been a MUCH better person. He's strikes me as a guy who doesn't crave power, but wants to make the best game possible. That's the kind of leader Blizzard needs.

To Blizzards defense, they gave people exactly what they wanted.
But what people don't remember is that the "big thing" before WoW was Everquest. So going from EQ to WoW was a huge difference, and over 15 years of Blizzard refining WoW, WoW Classic fucking sucks.
As someone who was drawn back into WoW Classic by friends I freely admit that the memory of WoW at launch was much better then the actual reality of it.

Fallout 76 anyone?

* assume a single player game's IP
* make it online only
* make it open world multiplayer
* add a trading system
* add micro-transactions that will make trading moot

While your at it, throw a washed out soft focus palette on cause eye candy is so NOT 2019.

I'd rather pay 50 bucks for a DLC that just adds multiplayer to Fallout 4 and allows people to host their own servers.

I mean I've been really digging VR since the 2016 launch but I'm the odd one out of my friends, you've gotta build yourself up to tolerating a ton of shit to get the most out of it and even then it's pretty fatiguing. Reminds me of old school computer games and everyone thinking I'm crazy to even bother. With the exception of a couple of people, everyone else I know has either boxed up their HMD or sold it. It's always amazing at first but after a few months most just don't want to tolerate it. It's early days and the tech still has a ton of problems, not sure if this push for VR will fizzle out or if we're just in the enthusiast phase

I think most people like to have a sense of their surroundings while gaming. The simple fact that both your eyes and ears are covered is kind of a turnoff (i.e. people feel uneasy about losing all that control). Iím not sure how tech can fix that. I suppose if it really becomes mind-blowing, the tolerance will increase as well.

I have to disagree. That's the point of VR is to be fully immersed in the program. As for getting "use to it"... Look at some of the earliest console controllers... Intellivision, Atari, NES, Keyboard, Mouse, Trackball, Force Feedback joysticks, 3d joysticks, steering wheels, HOTAS, etc.
I still believe that Star Trek Bridge Crew (with 3 other players) is still the most immersive VR experience out there (would like to try the military multiplayer shooter/sim).
