I like this idea, AMD would be able to use its knowledge of making dual cores and we can get rid of this sli crap.

Temple ruled.

Very fun game, but troika couldn't kill some of the lag bugs unfortunatly. Atari forced it out the door incomplete in typical fashion.

Atari deserves to rot in hell with the way they treated that game.

“With such a pedigree of highly entertaining and engaging titles for young gamers"

That sums it up pretty much I'd say

Good to see this title being made for my young kids to enjoy.

Id laugh if someone hacked the esrb website to show them how easily someone else can sabotage thier property and create strif for them. Maybe put a big tittied monster on thier front page hehe.

And to that person who created the nude work and those who download it, my god go get a life, better yet, a girlfriend !

This patch corrects alot but also fails in so many areas and patch 1.04 will probably be months away, as EA has most likely moved the majority of the staff on to another project.

I wish the EA designers would take heed as to what the community is complaining about and just implement the suggested changes. Or release an SDK so the community can make thier own adjustments.

This game has so much potential to be a challenging fun RTS.
Even with all the down sides I am still enjoying playing it.

I feel for the Xbox 360 owners as this game will be balanced to play far better on the pc,especially after playing with Clords A.I. improvements. EA should never have released this game until AFTER the pc version was perfected with all the patchs and balance changes.

THQ is making a good decision, the next game they make with this engine will be out on the market quicker as they don't have to try to code for directx 10 , dual core, 64 bit, and there is a good physics engine in place.

The engine rocks, not many other engines are of the same calibur. I look forwards to whatever they produce with it.

I agree, it is a very enjoyable game. Bugs are inevitable, and hopefully EA can see that the game has to get the long term support.

The game does need to address the widescreen issue tho, there is no native widescreen resolution for 16:10 monitors, having to edit the ini and then dealing with a stretched interface is not only lazyness on thier part but also shows that EA doesn't support future tech. I don't own a dual core cpu but I imagine the game doesn't take advantage of that either.

I'll second that Tango, there is no reason to not support 16:10, I'm sure the xbox 360 will have it.

We just need to keep making a stink on this.

Woopdeedoo , what a waste of money !

A new player...
a new T.V. with HDMI...

For your computer.

A new player...
Windows vista....
A new monitor with HDCP....

I hope this technology falls flat, The whole thing reeks of over spending for the public and then the headache of DRM bullshit.

I figure that pc gaming will explode with the notebook market. The graphic chips are finally tough enough.
I so look forwards to owning a notebook so I can get out of the basement and relax on my deck, or take it camping :).

The thing holding back the market is the drm crap, Laptops are made for entertainment on the go. but if you purchase now then your machine may be useless for anything needing HDCP.

Frustrating.

I bought this game but quit before paying the monthly fees,

It was fun, but why would anyone want to sit at a desk that long ? What a waste of time and money !
One is better to get out of the house and interact with the world then be couped up in a room all day. Especially if one works in an office for a living.
