The freebie is a license plate frame - Jedi Academy across the top, and 'Graduated With Honors' or somesuch on the bottom. There's a picture of it when you click on the pre-order link.

At the forums, they said the changelog would be available in the coming days, but not right now.

I hit this on the TechTV site a while back, and never got an answere there. Today when I go to Blues News (just in the last fiew minutes - around noon Pacific time), I'm prompted to download a file called html.ng, since my browser (either IE or Mozilla) doesn't know what do to with it. It appears to be related to UGO ad. What's up?

The 3DGamers reference to the site in Indiana seems to be OK. I'm getting up towards 20KB/sec, which isn't bad. Should be done by lunch.

I have got to build me a new machine. When the bare minimum hardware requirements for the game (save memory) match exactly what I have, it's time to go buy some parts.

Maybe this is why I haven't been able to get to www.battle.net all day?

I'll betcha that's one project Steve Ciarcia never thought of (or at least couldn't get published in Byte).

Too bad it's broken - the name doesn't show up, or shows up with an error . . .

Maybe tomorrow, beer will be my friend.

What about an hour and a half from now?

"...so there's no reason to be certain the announcement relates to StarCraft"

Yeah, except that starcraft2.com was registered by Vivendi Universal:

I've tried downloading both patches, and in both cases I get a size mismatch error - in both cases, the patch downloaded is larger than expected.

Good lord, what did she think? That people wanted to come on her show to show off their intellectual prowess? No, they wanted 1) fame and 2) money. Period. All the really smart people are over on Jeopardy.

On the other hand, I have a passport. I guess that makes me a friggin genius. Now, if you'll pardon me, I appear to be out of pork rinds.
