FileShack was good for a time, but then too many people found out and now the wait times are almost as bad as FilePlanet. At least FileFront doesnt require a registration(or maybe it does and I signed up a long time ago, either way no wait on the file)
Read the Q&A about nascar2003 and was sad to hear that this is the last game by papyrus in the nascar series. They did do a great job with the series, and I for one am looking forward to this new one.

I believe they are 3rd person action rpg or something like that. Its a shame really because these games had so much potential but then come out looking like crap. Of course looks arent everything but they dont hurt. If you want a good LotR type game, try the hobbit for super nintendo. Great fun.
I bet J.R.R. Tolkein is rolling around in his grave. As he watches his books get whored all for money. The games in no way do justice for the book. Even the movie. The movie was great but just cant compare to a book. Because everyone see's the places in the book differently, and where was Tom? He was the best!
Why is it that companies ship these great games at the same time? NOLF2 and now Hitman 2 and not to mention NHL 2003. All this gaming goodness at once, but then a dry spell will happen and there are no good games for a month at a time. Why is that? Is it because of sales or something?

Has the lag in Battlefield 1942 been fixed at all? I really liked the game, and was wondering if it had been fixed. I still hear about people aiming and firing but not hitting the person. Just wondering if this has been fixed or not before I decide to buy.
try messing with the options. I found that by turning off hardware sound I gained a few more frames. My pc is amd xp1900+, ti4600, 256ddr so almost the same.

I checked the gone gold site, and on they said that EBgames site had put that it had gone gold. So the guy who runs the site gone gold, called EA to confirm, and the rep at EA told him that it was close to gold but had to iron out the bugs, but you could basically call it gold. So he wrote that it had gone gold. Did that make any sense?

While disturbing it is good, because they are on top of the "minor" glitches rather then leaving it for a long time and making you play with the glitches.
