I very rarely post, but, I have been playing this since first Beta and just had to voice my support for this epic project. IMHO, by far the best strategy game I've played. In fact, one of the best games I've ever played. But, don’t take my enthusiasm for granted, try it for your self!

I dont care how long it takes within reason, as long as it lives up too the original. One of my all time fave's.

I think every time you buy a song, the record label should give you a license that says that you own it outright (excepting any attempts to make money from it). Besides, we are paying for a license fee after all.

Judging by this demo, this gets my vote as first great game this year(IMHO), so far. Controls are no worse than anyother flight-sim to me. Get a stick!

I’m not sure about this but is anyone keeping score, are we losing quality game companies faster than were making them. And, if so, how many years before we are left with four, or is it now three, game companies. The free market of gaming is mirroring the movie industries well, soon the big fish will finish off the little fish and we will be relegated to monopolies, the American way. Yeah, I think its been almost five years now since I’ve herd anything worth listening too from the music industry as well, oh wait, in America every thing is own by maybe 10 people, its all the same industry

"I think Activision caved to a bunch of whining children. "

"Well.. who do you think their customers are?"

Roger that! Granted I'm 27 so it doesn't really apply, but really, market it toward the intended consumer.

I really wish I though you were right WebDemon, but since they (File Planet) knows that the business practice exists, I think they will wip it out again as soon as they think we have forgotten. At witch point I quess we'll have to remind em. Democracy is such tiring work, its no wonder its failing as a whole.

I like how so many are willing to support one companies right to sell rather than be human about its business practices. Oh wait, forget my naivety, I failed to remember that fucking each other over so that we can have the RIGHT to feel exclusive about our selves is human.

My sarcasm aside, I would gladly make sacrifices to my self for the benefit of the community (as I see it, and usually love it) than to support a corporations right to make money so they can further sponsor efforts to find ever more creative ways to separate said money, from my wallet.

If you want to support the mechanism of capitalism then say something for either side. If both sides get fair say then the system worked. In this case the consumer won IMO. All we did is draw a line in the sands of what we are willing to tolerate. I can see nothing more democratic than that.

They tryed a bussiness practice, the practice failed, democracy at its finest IMHO. Dont feel sory for a company because they tried something and it did'nt work, happens everyday, FREE ECONOMY, or so they say. Nine out of ten bussiness suposedly fail every year, if the company you use fails so be it. The consumers have spoken.

If you want a show of hand's then I for one will suport the Fight Club mentality.

America was founded buy a bunch of white rich guys who were looking to get richer by breaching from bussiness practices set buy other wite rich guys who were getting rich from them. I see a rejection of these bussiness practices as no diffrent than defining what we think of as freedom.

So what your saying Meezy is that to protect our freedom we should say nothing? that way the corporations wont have to pander to the little guy?

Gee, I thought that the lack of action on the part of Americans is what led us to this sorry situation (witch is IMO, destroying our culture) in the first place.

But hey, mabey your right, I genrally say little on these matters as I feel that the CORPORATIONS already bought our freedoms to the point that the Ma and Pa where left in the cold. Wallmart to me is nothing but a messure of the degree to witch American wages and scence of qullity had deminished, the cheapening of our way of life. Not to mention an excellent gauge to the discrepancy between the rich and poor witch has me sharpening my gioteen.

Personaly, I'm ecstatic to have been proved wrong in this instace. It shines a little ray of hope that while American Ideals have shifted from freedom of expression and privacy to the freedom to safety buy crap and expand said discrepancy, that some still have the nad's to stand up for what they feel is right.

The Corprate sand is wheathering our ways of life. All the corprate sympathisers are doing is nothing but to bring there own doom uppon themselve faster. This is unnessasary, it will come soon enough.
