The band that they have coupled with the earlier in-game footage on the first page (55.75mb one), goes by the name "Ill Nino" and not suprisingly the song is titled "Unreal". A intense mix of rock metal with a latin flare. Just helping pimp out the band because I like them so much. And thinking that perhaps someone out there might have been curious as to who that was...

It's available for PC too, it'll be worth the wait. But those that do have an Xbox already...

Perhaps, but that had nothing to do with what made the game the most fun and that was gameplay. That's like saying someone didn't enjoy a FPS because they don't like how serious it was... Maybe its just me but I don't think that had much to do with outstanding level design and excellent weapon balance. Eh, forgive me, I just loved this game...

What Eon's saying, 134.39, is that if you are a small developer that it is the wisest to consider the size of your company and limit the project's size to what you can handle... unlike Mr. Smart, who from what I can tell isn't very smart at all...

NOLF was one of the best FPS I have ever played. It's right up there with Deus Ex & System Shock (1&2) despite the fact that the latter two deviated from the FPS genre with RP elements. If you didn't enjoy this game, then I don't think you gave it a fighting chance. Games are about having fun and NOLF dealt it out in troves. Numberous sites & gaming magazines gave NOLF the "game of the year" award and that was one of the few occasions where I agreed with them. And now that the sequal is going to include CoOp--it just shows you how much better the sequal could be.

What's the point of making a game, splintering from the company, and then having your first exciting new project be simply a rehash of what you did just a year or two before?

Because they wan't to make it better... That's the way the industry works. Improve your version over the last one... I think Unreal Tournament did this job nicely. So far, this looks to improve upon where I felt Empire Earth was left short. But that's just me.

Daikatana? good game?!? I'm sorry... I rocked it and now I'm gonna knock it. Pssh, too little, too late. I've played almost every FPS out there and Daikatana was bar none, one of the worst... Hell, Sin & Gunman Chronicals were better...

Regarding Postal, I have to give RwS credit... That was the first game I ever played where I heard children scream for daddy and bellow out morbid howls begging not to be shot. It's in no way in good taste, but it's ballsy, somebody's got to do it.

Also, I read the story on the Go POSTAL site... and yes, it does sound like it was written by a 14 year old kid.

Here's to hoping Postal 2 might actually be fun...

I remember way back when PCXL was still around they dedicated a entire page to Mac Gaming once... It was a cover for a new magazine called "Mac Gamer", much like PC gamer, it listed;

Then the cover read, "the 2 Mac games for 2000!!".

Oh, wait that was a fake ad... I loved that magazine... -sigh-

I think what the PC users are saying is that they have a much, MUCH larger library to chose from. Pure PC for me! No way I would have missed out on MOH:AA...

Now that sure is a negative way to look at things... like I always say, don't knock it 'til you rock it.

some of the things they have done with multiplayer are SO MUCH better than the original. I've been satisfied & I'm looking forward to the update.

No way man, those energy cannons that shoot out those blue eggs are better. 6 of them fired at once can take a mech out.

Are you talking about the PPCs? They have a huge heat ratio, but when you pack 'em on with enough sinks the range and damage alone can blow the crap out of anything!

Albeit 3 days late, but I felt like it had to be said none the less.

One thing I didn't like about MW4: BK was the poor pathing for the lancemates during the city based missions, but all in all It's a nicely done add-on! The black market rocks.

At 34 posts I thought I might see more about Mech 4 in this thread... I've been sadly mistaken. I just wanted to say to those arguing over something that is WAY off topic...
