LittleMe, hit the END button to take direct control. Then your mouse has the aiming cursor (the turret follows it) and the ARROW keys move the tank. It's a little back asswards compared to Western games but as long as it's configurable in the retail version it works.

These guys did a great job with that in their first games but it is kind of spotty in this one. I've noticed some glitches with both movement orders and other orders in the interface. Trying to change from one unit to another via mouse is a severe pain in the ass. Sometimes taking as many as three clicks. Unless I'm just doing something wrong the interface is kind of whacked.

Besides that it's makes me want to reinstall Soldiers.

mag, that is exactly what I thought of 'Pitch Black', one of the worst movies I have ever seen. So bad I never want to see another movie with Vin. The only roll I like him in was Saving Private Ryan because he got popped by a sniper and died before he could ruin the movie.

Kind of like Seagal. Best movie of his is when he dies (letting Kurt Russel board the plane) before he could ruin the rest of the movie. http://www.stevenseagal.com/

Let's hope it doesn't take them an extra year (and then some) to get an English language version on shelves.

And yes... The Dark Eye is due out in the next couple days according to EB Games.

Edit: Has anyone got a copy of The Dark Eye? I just noticed that EB Games/GameStop have it listed as 'Backordered'. Anyone heard wtf is going on with the release or if there has been an official release?

To tell the truth I've not seen any of the Riddick movies after a co-work and manager talked me into seeing the horrid 'Pitch Black'.

See the locked 86 page thread on the Official Forums. Their PR guy confirmed that it was in fact part of the reason with little explanation. Then a page or two later tries to retract the statement.

The damned game was nearing gold why else would they delay for six to eight months? If they need more polish do you really think it would take them that much longer?

Also if polish is indeed the main reason do you really think they would spend six more months just polishing? It's all about marketing. My guess is they could stop or just continue with the current marketing and then put out the ads for the console release. I highly doubt the sales for the PC version would falter because of it.

The game looks fantastic and the PC market is starved for this type of game. How could they lose by releasing the PC version first?

Edit: Here's the link, see page two fourth post down by the OP. No, I didn't read the entire 86 pages. After four pages I pretty much got the gist of it...

When the news broke that it was delayed I didn't pay much attention to it. I figured no biggie a month or two longer won't hurt anything. Then my friend told me the date and I text him saying those @#$%^& $%&(&*@ delayed it until the console release date.

When I got home from work the other day I finally decided to read the thread from their forums and near the beginning there's admittance that that was part of the reason... I was pissed... then later the same guy trying to retract the statement? I just stopped there. 86 pages and I don't want to know nor do I care.

My guess was Dragon Age's development shifted toward the consoles when EA took control. It appears to be true since they aren't far behind.

Yeah, I'm pissed. But everybody knows money talks. Once you've sold your soul to the devil... or EA... you are nothing more than a puppet.

If anything else comes out at release I'll be buying that instead of Dragon Age. When I buy it I'll buy it as late as I possibly can and if the player reviews are negative I may not buy it at all.

It's not a stretch to feel betrayed after all the BS about this being a PC exclusive... then console releases... to the present situation. And if you are one of those thinking they are going to use this time to polish the PC version... for six months... you are high. I'd bet the team has already been striped down and moved on to other projects or toward the consoles.

Maybe somebody who lurks among the Bioware forums can shed some more light. Not that it will change most of our attitudes...

Is anyone else annoyed now whenever new Dragon Age info or screens are released? Remember them (Biowares) saying how they would still operate as an independent studio nothing would change? Too ironic...

Acleacius, thanks for the info on that program. I translated the read-me but can't seem to figure out what button on the programs menu saves the settings to your G2 folder.

I think I got the rest of the settings figured out just can't seem to get them to stick or work in game. What am I missing?

I've also left the program open and running with the NotR Lite settings on... yet when I leveled up the settings seemed to be the original NotR.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had some fun with the demo but wasn't planning on buying it just yet. Too much else going on. After hearing this I may just get it now after all.

I'm one of those who loves Steam too. Were else can you download your games over and over after wiping a drive or building a new system.

I bought a game from a damned Polish on-line distributor and after a rebuild they not only won't let me download it again but stopped responding to my e-mails. Live and learn people.

Trying to get Night of the Raven with that G2 Gold but it won't allow me to create an account. I tried twice and it never sends an e-mail. I assume you have to verify your account via e-mail like all others?

Anyone else having this issue?

It went forward because he was hit on the arm from that side. He was drawing it back for the throw (no doubt) but never began the forward motion before being hit since he never saw it coming.

There were two other calls that were questionable but then there are always a few. Its part of the game. Even with the disputes it will never be perfect. Humans never are.

You missed a great game if you didn't tune in. Two years straight... the NFL is on a roll.

Wish this was also a NA thing but oh, well. I'll be going back to LotR sooner or later. I bought the MoM expansion and the WotLK but haven't opened either yet. I'll be jumping into MoM first. I loved LotR Online but also got burnt out... it happens with everything, at least for me it does.

I've got both Vista 64 and Win7 64 (beta) and at this time I would call it Vista v.2.0 though it does seem a bit faster. Still has a lot of pop up warnings but you can turn it down or off. Biggest problem is a fresh install won't let me install X-Fi drivers. The bug report tells me that it recognizes my card it just won't recognize that the drivers are the latest and work fine with that card. If you do an upgrade install of Win7 Beta just keeps all the old drivers and everything worked fine... well it was running a bit wonky (slow downs and freeze ups with IE) kind of like the Vista upgrade install. A fresh install runs great just can't game on it until I get those drivers to take. Too busy playing in Vista to mess with it at the moment.

I agree with the comment about Win7 should be a free upgrade for Vista buyers. Or if nothing else sold at a reduced price to those of us who bought Vista.

Damn, it's bad enough you can't watch a half hour of TV without hearing about El Presidente but now we can't even read a game related thread here on Blue's without hearing about him.

The media has turned him into a celebrity superstar messiah of some kind. Of course he can't do any worse than the last guy but no way in Hell will he do a fraction of what people expect. They seem to think he is going to save the world. From what I do not know... nor do they... I suppose.

That's the whole point of a combo pack. Get a great game and maybe a couple good ones with a stinker or two possible. The thing is you got them all for next to free. Try them out and decide for yourself what you like. Not like you're losing much but the time you invested into the game.
