I agree about the catacombs and getting the crap scared out of you...
I wasn't happy paying $59 and tax but after playing most of the first 4 missions I can honestly say this game is well worth the money.
I have a P2 733, 384mb RAM, an old Ge Force 256 and with all the graphic goodness cranked up high this game is awesome. I have been scared so many times I decided to take a break and play some Ghost Recon.
This game is in the running for Game Of The Year no doubt. And if it doesn't win it will place second...
So far it has enough story to hold a FPS together. And it has a boat load of atmosphere... oh, hell yeah. Damn scary at times. And the scripted conversations and routines of the enemy are great. Think of NOLF or Half Life... and the enemy AI is very good, at times it amazing. I am having a blast. Go get this game or reserve a copy a.s.a.p. it's better than anything else on the shelves in this genre.
