It's a lot of fun, I was laughing out loud at places, which I tend not to do with DM or it's varients. The main thing that I enjoy with MP gaming is playing againt mates. Playing with them is even better which is why I'm especially keen for more Coop gaming

Close, but no cigar. It was actually a remix of sorts for another underground techno bod at the time by the name of "Pied Piper." I remember him from when I used to listen to John Peel on a Saturday night.

To be brutally frank, it's an Orbital tune really, and it was their remix that set the dance floors alight. The CD single that you have has the Orbital mix that started the hubbub, the remixes are just that. Still, a good track.

They will be missed, but they probably bowed out at the right time.

I don't know how much of an Orbital fan you are, but they did a track a number of years ago under the moniker "Golden Girls." (There's another, more convoluted past to it which I won't go into here.) However, it's classic Orbital ala Green/Brown albums and goes by the name of 'Kinetic.' Beware mind, there's a number of shite remixes of it floating around but you'll know when you've got the proper version.

i've always got the feeling that epic are quick to jump into mr gates' pockets, especially after UT. at the time, i admired the unreal engine because of how it looked and what not, especially over the quake stuff.

nowadays i side with mr carmack unequivocaly, simply on ideolgical reasons. oh, and epic's games as of late have been blowing ass, so that sways my opinion as well.

i'm with some of the more discontent on this topic, the steam delivery ran like a wounded dog. i think i only managed to connect to a few games, all of which my ping was at least a good 150 higher than it was supposed to be and that was when i could connect. the actual steam service crashed my pc to BSOD state multiple times, and quite frankly, i could be out at the shops getting some fresh air instead of watching the lack of a process bar on my PC.

i can see why some folk are frothing at the idea, i just don't think it quite suits me, i'm a tactile kind of guy. however, on the strength of the beta (yes i know, but they are trying to convice folk of this concept, at least make it work most of the time) i'm unconvinced. anyway,

and stop. and relax. and go to work. and calm down. quick...valium...

'allo allo' was an 80s british sitcom. let me put it this way, it was about as funny as an orphanage on fire. yup, that funny. it i[should] be funny, as it features all the things that we like to laugh about: gay nazis, the french, posh british people. it just isn't funny. don't worry about getting the corset out just yet, side-splitting it is not. ;p

the bbc has a long tradition of producing some really good sitcoms, it also has an even longer tradition of producing utter drivel.

i agree that it's cool that planet moon are doing another game, but does anyone else think that this looks an awful lot like giants? i mean, it even looks like the same engine. part of me thinks "yay, more giants!", part of me thinks "hey, hang on, this looks like a sophisticated TC!". maybe this is a good thing and i'm being a bit hyper-critical
