The tech specs of PS3 show that the cheapest version doesnt even have HD output or wifi or other gubbins so for price comparisons to xbox360 that does HD output on the core pack, then the ps3 is looking like a shit sandwich without the bread all the way.

Are sony insane for charging that much? Its gonna flop!

..which together span several years of gameplay

... thats just to get used to the interface and key mappings and trying to get the damn thing to work past all its bugs only to find a lacklustre game that isnt fit to wipe my arse with..

And just as some folks (or one, dunno) have mentioned, what about a library analogy - you can get any book in there for free !! Thats 0.00 for however long you like. Now hows that for bang-for-buck value.

Well im 28 and I openly admit to playing Mario Sunshine for weeks to get 100% on it and also the monkey ball games I played religiously. Still going through Mario 64 DS to get 100% on that as well so age doesnt come into it where fun games are concerned and Nintendo seem to have it spot on..

Well im from Britain, a lovely town called Barnsley (lol), and I can honestly say that Im not trumpetting over the queens birthday. That old hag can just disappear along with the rest of her inbred family. We dont need them, theyre just a leech of the state and a drain in tax payers money. Get shut of the royal family it just aint needed.

Still at least I can tell which window is on top(in focus) unlike the Vista's new windows

Does the red box in the top right hand corner of the window not give that away then or do you need to open your eyelids a little higher to see the top lines of things.

Only way to make this game fun is to rewrite it from scratch and get rid of all the consoleness from it and take out the ringfenced areas (you cant even drop over edges of platforms... invisible bloody edge platforms!!!! what year is this, 1985???)

The only reason I would get this is because every MK2/3 rom I ever DL'ed had a problem with the volume. It was stuck at a very low setting and nothing would move it up.
You need to go into the board settings of the game (where you set credit amounts and difficulty etc.) and go to volume to move it up to top and save. If your MAME directory is setup correctly this should save it to the eprom settings and will be on full next time you load MK2/3.

Sin Episodes felt more like an addon for Half Life 2 from that video footage. Replace combine and crab people with normal grunts and there you have it.

Still looks ok but very HL2 like with the locations and use of barrels/extinguishers

Does anyone know if this is another lame 3D Worms game or did TEAM17 finally come to their senses and bring back 2D Worms
Its another lame 3D game. According to spadge over at Eurogamer, the publishers "forced" them into 3D and they cant do 2D anymore or something along those lines. Boo hoo. If the publishers wont let you do a 2D worms game just dont fucking make one ! Simple as that. Worms in 3D does not work, its shite, boring, and lost every magical touch that W:A and WWP had.

Leave the series alone, its already been tarnised by W3D and that Fortress crap.
The concrete donkey has well and truly been beaten to death.

The dodgesawblade mod sounds interesting - could be like a multiplayer version of Windjammers the Neo-Geo game (see MAME).. interesting concept, damn i wish i could code better than I do i'd love to have a go at that mod..

Neeleyman - are your textures that are displaying incorrectly just a load of multicoloured squares, the kind you might see on a corrupted JPEG image ? *SPOILER* One place that sticks out as it being very dominant is right after you get the crowbar from Barney and have to smash the 3 wooden planks across the chain link fence gate - either side of the gate is like it for me.

Anyone else getting the odd texture problem in the game, looks like some textures havent been decrypted or something.

Theres not many, only seen about 4 or so but kinda spoils everything.

First one was right at the start just after speaking to the security guard who removed his helmet (leaving spoilers out) and you had to pile crates up to get out of the window - there was a whole load of multi coloured blocks as the floor texture on the top floor up the ladder.

Got this for my GF, the poxy thing dont run on her pc ! First it said not enough ram and refused to load (she has 256mb but it uses 64mb for onboard video and game wants 256mb total free.. stupid) so I got her some RAM and now it wont work with her onboard video - she can play Sims 2 perfectly fine and that has 100% better graphics than this.

Dunno what monkeys coded this game but its gone back to the days of olde with forcably only allowing certain brands of cards to work with it. Pathetic really
