Yeah, you're right. All of the game companies want to put out bad games. No one cares.

Are you high?

The games industry is very similar to the movie industry. How many bad movies get released every year? My guess, including those that never make it to the theater and are released straight to video, is about 100. How many truly incredible movies are released each year? Maybe 5.

Why is this true? Because it is extremely difficult to pull together a project that will have the technical and aristic feel that will satisfy a large audience and entertain them for hours. Also take into account that when you create either a movie or a game, you are making something for people to view/play in 2 or 3 years. What will their tastes be like then?

Of all of the people I have worked with in the game industry, I have yet to meet someone who has said "Hey, let's make a bad game." People want to make good games and many do.

Technically, I thought it was great. All the little details were there. I'm an ex-Airborne Infantry Officer and military history buff and it all looked great. The gear, the langauge, the settings.

The only small mistake I saw was when a soldier, after some heavy firing with his .30 cal machine gun, picked it up by the barrel with his bare hands and moved out. His hand would have melted.

I will definitely be watching all the other episodes.
