Description
When I was a little boy I hugged a tree. After a long exchange of bodily fluids, I became addicted to the tree. Everyday after school I would visit the tree and hug it to achieve my daily buzz, until one day there was another person by the tree. Not

I hope they do something with scrolling the view. The way it is now, it feels like scrolling in mud.

There's an easy way to fix that actually, the max setting (5 I think) is bugged so that it is even slower than 1. Use 4 if you want a fast scroll setting.

Heh, that story about the girls pummeling the perv is pretty funny. Not very catholic of them though.

Obviously spoken by a man who hasn't attended a Catholic school.

This demo is really stupid. It took me about an hour and a half to download it at 100kb/s and about 5 minutes to beat it. The control scheme and graphics suffer from consolitis and the whole demo really wasn't scary at all. Everything in the game is dark and in different shades of red and brown and the enemies are nondescript bloody zombie creatures that may or may not be flying. For 500 megabytes you'd think Konami would put together a demo that at least showed off some of the storyline, or had a cutscene explaining how the girl got to this weird place.

I'm gonna have to agree with Jack here. I mean, after playing Max Payne 2 for an hour I was fully trained in the art of leaping forward and landing on my belly whilst shooting people. I practice on my couch sometimes and also have deadly accuracy, because holding a mouse is just like holding a gun, only clickier.

How dare you heathens enjoy this game! Can't you see how terribly cliche it all is? I mean really, how many times have I played a game with some form of killing in it. Violence is overdone, I think we need more games with no competition (which always leads to violence) like Tetris. A truly original game worthy of getting over a 2.5/5 from a jaded over analyzing critic.

I am not a game developer, so I have no idea what leaked source code means (as I am sure many of these conspiracy theorists don't either). Could someone please explain to me what exactly this means and why/if HL2 should be delayed?

Basically it means the coding for the game (not the textures, models, sounds or other artwork) was taken from Valve via the internet. Apparently Valve may have lost some of the code if the hacker's deleted parts of it instead of just copying. Valve will likely not suffer any significant loss in sales in either HL2 game or the HL2 engine licensing, because 1) Piracy will always happen, leaked betas/source codes or not, and 2) Any game company using the source code on their next title will be sued out the ass if they don't pay the licensing fees first.

Yet, when the government announced plans to make computer hacking a felony punishable by life in prison, that selfsame large number of the posters here were all up in arms about how that was ridiculous, way too heavy etc. And ofcourse, this was talking about hackers who break into stuff such as the national powergrid, who steal thousands of credit card numbers, break into high security military networks etc. Not stealing some code for a game.

The punishment should be relative to the extent of the crime. Having every single computer hacking case get a life term is just as stupid as giving every violent crime case a life term.

Well the Baldur's Gate series was officially concluded with the BG2 expansion Throne of Bhaal, so any BG3 game would likely be a franchise whore title with little related to the actual series, like Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance.
