I don't expect much out of humanity anymore. It's too painful to be constantly disappointed.

None given.

"We can do this one of two ways. There's the hard way, which involves hours of discussion, tons of negotiation, half a dozen bribes, and no guarantee of success."

"What's the easy way?"

"Liberally placed high explosives."

"Liberally placed high explosives."

As for the new "rewards", I'm skeptical of it, mostly because of NCSoft's recent layoffs and cancelations. Sorry, but fluff content can't erase seven issues full of nerfs and power reductions.

Truth is, the population in the game has been quite stable the last year, since the server mergers. This will bring in a boost in population for a while, but once the ubers that haven't played in two years farm it out and declare the expansion to suck (as it always happens) within two weeks, it'll go back to the level of people that truly give a damn about the game.

However, I too admit my hesitation about EA and their handling of DAoC. I'm wondering just how long it'll take before they mismanage it into oblivion. They have a great track record with sports games, yes. But things like this? I'm wondering if their CEO is an RPG-hater, to be honest.

I'll consider the source of your very weak counterpoint. And, for the record, I don't drink.

As for your second equally weak attempt at attacking me, ever think that maybe, just maybe I'm waiting for MEO to come out? Or doesn't that cross your mind? Probably not.
