Hope you have better luck than we are having. Seller's are being sticklers on some items that don't make sense. It is 100% a buyers market, but not sure why these sellers think otherwise....I was told it is their age (older).

Bathroom floor was done yesterday. We reset the 3' x 3' glass block window this morning and the shower tile will be completed today.

Just need to get the vanity in from the garage this week and the granite folks can come so I can get that ordered. Get the two glass under mount bowls installed and that much closer to being done.

Need a cabinet maker to come in and design/build storage under the stairs in the bathroom.....similar to this

Paint and done. I'll post some pics.

Welp.

Put an offer on a house, they countered and we kind of agreed. Tiler comes Wednesday (fingers crossed), and staging/pics/planning Thursday.

11 years, time for new digs.

Hate moving. So much to get done.....

Did you manage to get a place a little further out or are you still in the city?

Still in the inner ring of the Metro. Probably considered by most to be "in the city".

My current place is 110% "in the city". Northeast Minneapolis.

Is anyone going to succeed by doing nothing but complaining about inequities. Nope. But that doesn't change the fact there are inequities. Has progress been made? Sure. Is there a lot more to do? You bet.

Yes, there are bad cops. Yes, some people are crooks. There is a lot more grey than there is black and white. All we can do is try to make things better as best we can. The more people helping to make it better, the faster it will happen.

Good post.
True, no one could find fault with that statement.

Nothing wrong with it indeed, but no clue what he's suggesting either. "Not everything is black and white, everyone should help to make things better", was anyone here suggesting something in conflict with that in the first place?

I can see why people dig it, but imo it's also a classic conversation stopper. People end up just nodding in agreement while no real ideas were shared in the end.

I was actually focusing on
All we can do is try to make things better as best we can. The more people helping to make it better, the faster it will happen.

I do my part, hope that others try as well.

Wuh? I hate Uber and everything it does, but are they saying they want every single Uber driver to have a wheelchair accessible car?

No. They just want people that need wheelchair accessible cars to not have to pay extra for it.

Be interesting to see how this pans out. My questions is, are you telling me that it costs the same to use a wheelchair van taxi cab as it does a regular one? (Something I have never thought about)

There isn't 1 UBER driver in the world that is going to invest in that kind of equipment for the 1.00 per ride they get.

Would the only solution be that UBER eats the cost on all of those vehicles?

The problem isn't that we hate all cops and love criminals. The problem is that police culture itself goes to any and all lengths to protect those bad apples from reprocussions. Also police acadamies spend 10 hours on deescalation techniques but 90 hours on firearm training. And so we end up with hundreds of innocent lives lost.

The UK and Japan average about one suspect killed by police per year. We average 1000 in the US. That's a primary cause of the ill will cast at police despite the majority being good people trying to do a hard job.

Please post stats of violent crime in those same countries vs ours. Thanks.

I thought there already was lots of lesser clones of this kinda game?

And Minecraft was an Infiniminer clone...yet we have a shitload of inferior clones after the fact.

(fun facts: the latter essentially failed because it was mod-unfriendly, while PUB was based off an Arma 3 mod)

They are also going to be mod friendly and the zombie addition is a mod someone already created for PUBG. Coming in an update soon. Not interested in zombie mode.....

Without the flash sales, the "Sales" are worthless anymore.

Flash sales were a gimmick. The publisher tells Steam what they will offer their games at. I prefer the new model - just tell me the lowest price you offer the whole week.
