They only catch the most blatant. They have no desire to actually catch people. How long did those 11,000 play before they banned them?

Games needs to let us control our own servers. MP VS gaming has declined in regards to enjoyment since they took our admin rights away.

Everyone is still using their Galaxy Note 7 as Samsung fumbles its global recall.

Be interesting if they are starting on fire just sitting idle, or if a 3rd party charging device is being used to charge it and it starts on fire.....

Can't control what people plug into the phone....

Still waiting on the free Battlefront DLC.

There's been 3 of the big maps (Walker Assault) released for free since launch, bringing the total from 4 to 7. And 5 new infantry maps, bringing the total from 12 to 17 I think?

So the vanilla game has I think 24 total unique maps? And yes, the small maps aren't just a slice of the big ones, at no point in Walker Assault on Hoth do you enter the "Ice Caves" part of the level, the small maps were designed from the ground up for TDM-type stuff. As opposed to BF4 which just took one if their giant conquest maps, and stuck a bunch of shipping containers in a yard at one flag and call it TDM...

ANYWAYS, I recommend the Naval Strike expansion for anyone new to the BF4 DLC, it's "Titan mode" from 2142, where you have to cap missile silos to punch holes in a giant aircraft carrier instead of a floating titan.

The problem is only 3 maps get played.....

I remember wanting to play this game, but I have a thing against strict time limits in games. Completely switches me from interested to not interested.

From what I remember playing of the first one, as well as cheating like a mofo to finish OTR...you're designed to fail. Many many times...

I still don't know how you finish OTR w/o using a trainer...

This first one on xbox I think I did darn near everything except save everyone....or was it DR2? I dunno. It was the part where you had to drop ALL weapons and save the Army guys, I kept dying at that part.....I think it is DR2.

DR1 was HARD. Once you figure out the smoothies though, you can time them to pick up, etc. I am sure I have diead HUNDREDS of times in each game.

Still trying to get my DR2 save to import.....

Everybody is always looking for a conspiracy in something. Tell someone that it is a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and if you look on the internet, they will try and convince you it is sawdust and unicorn jizz.

Turns out I have the first Bioshock as a separate physical game, and the other 2 on Steam. I'm probably shit out of luck to get the Remastered version for free.

Cant you just put your code into Steam? I think that is what I did.

I wish T-Mobile would focus on increasing the area of their coverage. In city centers it is fantastic. But you go even a couple of miles outside of a city center and it's complete garbage. Need wider coverage!

Get what you pay for. They are the cheapest carrier for a reason.

Calif. prospector finds steak-sized gold nugget. Publicity stunt? Thanks ViperFour.

If I went to a restaurant and ordered a "steak", and they brought out that tiny thing, I would walk out.

New opioid douses pain without being addictive or deadly in primates.

That's cool.

Now where's my non-addictive opioid that gets just gets people high and is legal? Let's invent that and undercut the trade in cocaine and heroin.

That really is huge. As someone who did a lot of drugs in the past I was always greatful I never had an addictive personality for any of them...with the sole exception of morphia. Did it twice, the first time as pain relief after an accident, and the second just to try it as is. I liked it way too much and was terrified of ever going near it again because I saw just how easy it would be to get hooked on it. I really hope this works out because it would be a major game changer for all humanity.

I have 4 surgeries over the last 1.5 years, and was put on serious drugs after each one. I quickly (and foolishly) took myself off of them to fast, ended up being in a lot of pain. The comfort the opioids gave was needed for me to heal and do therapy, but holy hell. I can see why people get stuck on those things!

Coming off of them was a BITCH! The body does really weird things when it wants a drug.....it is no longer a mystery to me why people abuse the hell out of those things. Body felt like I was 16 again, no pain anywhere. But I like to poop, so glad I no longer need them.

The BF1 open beta has a pretty serious memory leak. With my old desktop, with 8gb RAM, I can barely play one long round, or not even two medium rounds, before it starts slowing down drastically and giving me out of memory system messages. At first I wondered if it's just my aging desktop, but no, quite a few threads on it from people with newer comps.

Out of line of sight deaths may be due to lag/general bugginess, I wouldn't get too...paranoid( )... just yet about hacks. Once the memory leak gets resolved, a lot of timing/lag issues should improve.

Sandstorms are a terrible idea. They've been terrible for several Battlefields, and NO ONE enjoys them, no idea why DICE keeps using them, aside from getting a massive hard on for their engine capabilities.

All of that said, when it's working and there isn't a weather effect blocking sight, the game is pretty fun. Already had a nice sequence of: bombing some infantry from a biplane, get damaged, bail out to let it crash into an enemy plane, land, pick up the anti-tank rifle at E, snipe some more infantry, snipe a TANK to death, then get run over by a sniped guy's riderless horse. GG Battlefield.

I think I'm already sick of the booby trap shit, every doorway has somebody's wire-bomb thing in it. Waste of time, but at least the icon is pretty visible.

I'll put some more hours into the beta once my new system is put together towards the end of the week (hopefully!)

*EDIT* Typo.

Played for a couple hours, deleted it.

I was initially disappointed that Lo Wang in the reboot had a lot less of the cheesy Asian stereotype I enjoyed in the original game. But the game itself was a lot of fun in the old-skool way and surprisingly layered with its use of skill trees and magic powers. The story in the cutscenes was pretty good too, although it seemed divorced from the tone of the gameplay.

I am rather apprehensive about the random level generator for the sequel though. I disliked Diablo for this particular reason and I'm not sure I'm going to like it here. For me hand-crafted unique levels beat randomized generic crap any day.
It might be because I have a fever, but I don't see in the description that levels will be procedurally generated. Only the loot system.

Edit:
From the wiki...
Every mission, except for story-specific events, will feature procedurally generated level design and content, including randomized enemy positions, terrain, buildings, and weather conditions.

That is actually the most exciting part of the game to me. Not to big on the 100,000,000,000,000 rounds from a gattling gun to kill a bad guy though.

I just don't' find the readers as comfortable to hold. Also, having to organize the books, etc in the different readers I have is a PITA. I often forget I read a book a while back and start reading it again, only to get "that feeling"......

It was possible you could use up all available slots for waypoints on the galaxy map and be unable to set new waypoints. This is much better now.

How was that ever overlooked in a game that touted infinite exploration!

Also, they used "learnt" in a sentence.....wtf.
