Lawyers: New court software is so awful it’s getting people wrongly arrested.

Isn't that an example of a pot calling a kettle black?

Unreal was so far ahead of it's time. I remember we restarted the game several times trying to see under that door......and the MP of the games was 2nd to only Action Quake. Using the teleport and getting in some really cool places was a lot of fun.

driving changed it's sensitivity so drastically depending on how fast you turned the wheel. LOL.

Not trying to nit pick, but might be a bad example. You ever half crank a steering wheel instantly in a car at 60? I have.

Enjoy the little things in life. I doubt a once a month burger has been the dying regret of anyone ever. That said, maybe consider In-N-Out, Backyard Burger, Shake Shack, or Five Guys instead of a McDonalds if you really want the gluttony to be worth it.

It is just a small part of a bigger picture. A few years ago my body chemistry decided I needed to suffer from gout. Knowing this is a small indication of a larger issue down the road (kidneys, heart failure, etc.), I made several diet and lifestyle changes. Unfortunately they haven't entirely helped, as even without the red meat I have had outbreaks. Sucks.

I am partial to In-N-Out, as whenever I traveled to the West coast I would consume large amounts when I could. We have Five Guys, but they are new here and I have not had them.

He's done it! He's reached level 1800 in Overwatch. Offers unsubstantiated claims that all others to do so shared accounts…

Not sure if I am happy for him or feel embarrassed on his behalf.

Court Awards Damages Following Bogus DMCA Takedowns. Thanks HARDOCP.

Well, he went after an amount of money $15,000 that isn't worth it for the labels to send an attorney. Isn't much of a win unfortunately. Had the amount been 6 figures, I guarantee you an attorney for the labels would have showed. No different than civil lawsuits against cities. They settle them for less than 100k because it costs a minimum of 50k just to do one day in court. 6 figures is pie in the sky for most people, so they just take the deal. Meanwhile the city worker who did no wrong is thrown under the bus.

That RDR video was cool, but it was a link after the video that got me on the right side. There is a vid of the guy and his family that did John's voice. Just a normal dude, with a great outlook on life.

So I'm guessing that the 3x people posting here that played the first game with KB+M didn't spend any time aiming or shooting...?

The game STILL has a disastrous amount of positive AND negative acceleration. It's baked into the engine. You can't mod it out, and at no point since the game's release 2.5 years ago have they decided it's worth fixing.

Moving your mouse 1 physical inch can be either moving your crosshairs 10 degrees, or 180 degrees depending on how fast you do it. it's BY FAR the WORST KB+M implementation in a PC game in over a decade.

For a game with very promising multiplayer, it was disappointing. very.

The sequel doesn't suffer from this, for that alone it's leagues ahead of the game to where the last one left off.

I thought there were work arounds for that.....I didn't have any issues.

Mentioned it earlier, but I've found a story regarding the current line of EVGA cards and over heating problems:EVGA GTX 1070/1080 Overheating Issues Update. Sounds like they've got a solution even if it might not be optimal (i.e. faster fan speed = more noise). I believe the common consensus is that the cooler is just poorly designed. Though I'm sure it's fine in most cases and should be okay with the new vbios update and free optional thermal pads (should you request them). On the other hand if you get one and your card starts shooting flames out the back of your case don't say you weren't warned

Yeah thanks for that. I'll definitely be bypassing EVGA because of this. So it's likely going to be ASUS or MSI unless I can find a compelling reason - or a better deal - to use something else.

No issues here. I have tried to crap this thing out and overheat it - haven't been able to yet.

I went with EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 SC 8gb. I love it. I keep cards for a long time (replaced a 660Ti) so the $400 I spent was acceptable.

Next is a new monitor.

Sorry to hear about everyone's losses. Weighs on the mind. Put one of our labs down a couple weeks ago. Probably one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. Wagged his tail until he went to sleep. Poor thing was puking blood and still happy....Love that dog more than most of my family....

Came here to say this. Thanks.

WOOHOOO!!! Our future! Be funny if all of the stories I am thinking about are fake - but I am pretty sure they aren't as I dont' have a stake in them one way or the other, but, analysis shows that they don't have sex (in a hurry no link late for work) they aren't buying houses (same) and they don't want to get married and have meaningful relationships (same). Hopefully that changes.

The game was fun, but after going back and losing the naming of a whole cluster of a universe, whats the point? oh well. Was cool for the few days I played it. I have Fallout 4 to build bases, I don't need a space game to do that.

But I DID LIVE IT!

You're not living it right now. You have no idea what people are going through, times have changed since you and I were working 2-3 jobs. Sure we earned our success but that doesn't mean we get to spit on everyone else. You called them all lazy and had the nerve to say its white privilege when you have no fucking clue. Don't act like it wasn't your big mouth that got you here. You want to offer shallow surface opinions from talk radio? Fine but don't expect that they won't be challenged.

oh good lord. I mentioned Amazon as it is the LARGEST employer in the area right BEGGING people to work, now with 3 warehouses, has billboards (just saw they upped it to $17 an hour), hire on the spot, with benefits. (they are desperate right now - pulled an Amazon driver over a few weeks ago driving wrong way on the highway and she said she worked there for 4 months but has not had a valid license for 10 months)

I can't believe you're continuing on with this and your big idea is based on a personal anecdote. Ok let's see here. Amazon is hiring temps for Christmas. It hires and fires thousands of workers this way every year. I shouldn't even have to say this but apparently it isn't obvious so: the entire country can't work at Amazon. The entire country can't move to Minnesota either.

Hard work and opportunity are two different things. Many people are forced into hardship through no fault of their own and opportunities to work out of it are seldom. That's what people want, they want opportunity. They're willing to work their way up through the mail room but many of them can't get hired there because its in fucking China now and the company barely hires American workers. They aren't asking for handouts and don't worry, no one is going near your wallet since I suspect that's your real fear. So before you start throwing around accusations about white privilege and laziness, maybe try exercising a little thought and a little empathy about the subject instead of making sweeping generalizations you heard on talk radio.

Bla bla bla ignoring your ignorance.

They are new warehouses.

eh, if I lost my job today I could get 5-10 jobs. I have so many friends who own businesses that can't get people to work. Amazon added 3 warehouses here in Minneapolis area and are begging people to work.

Easy to say, another thing to live it. You've been living in the cushy union world for a long time by your own admission, you have no fucking idea what other people are going through right now. Feel free to put your money where your mouth is and go work at an Amazon warehouse. Yeah I didn't think so.

Tired of this nanny shit. Work hard it will pay off. Bitch and cry and sit on your thumb and get nothing.

No one asked you to be fucking nanny of anything, you're the one acting like a jerk with no compassion to the downtrodden. What precious wisdom you offer them like JUST WERK HARD, I bet no one thought of that. It's ok guys, everyone can just work at Amazon warehouses hes got it all figured out.

But I DID LIVE IT!

You've been living in the cushy union world

wow....cushy? You have no fucking clue what I have been through. You are a fool.

I seriously doubt a recount will change the results much, but we've been hearing for years about how vulnerable electronic ballots are. There should be a wide scale audit to at least give some evidence one way or other about the actual incidence of tampering with electronic ballots. They've done similar things in regards to claims millions of dead are voting and they tend to find you can count the number of actual cases on your fingers. What it does reveal is the voter registration system needs to be updated so deceased individuals are accurately identified and removed from the voter rolls. And while voter fraud by this method is very rare, what is very common are groups using often highly inaccurate data to purge large swaths of legitimately registered voters from the rolls.

Voter fraud exists. Two unknown people can go on election day and create this scenario over and over:

Person A: I want to vote
Voting Volunteer: Do you have an ID or anything with your address on it?
Person A: No.
Voting Volunteer: Who is going to vouch for you?
Person A: *Points to person B
Voting Volunteer: *Addressing Person B - Do you have an ID or anything with your address on it?
Person B: No.
Voting Volunteer: Who is going to vouch for you?
Person B: *Points to Person A
Voting Volunteer: Ok, looks good, here are your ballots.

Well voter vouching is not allowed in my state, and a quick google check suggests it's not as easy as you suggest. Further more what you have presented is not proof but a fictitious scenario you believe could happen. Why keep suggesting it's happening when you have no proof?

OTHER than the FACT that I watched it happen? On top of that I mentioned it to the MN legislators I know and they are aware of it and are frustrated. (Wasn't even aware you could do this, as common sense says it is not a good idea - until I saw it in action!)
