I seriously fail to see how Snapchat would be culpable in any form. wouldn't it make more sense for the passenger to use the app? I dunno. Common sense and breaking the law is apparently everyone else's fault EXCEPT the person doing it.

It's all in the article.

- Snapchat creates filter that is purposely meant for use in high speed scenarios.
- This filter leads to accidents which are documented and that Snapchat is aware of
- Snapchat does not disable this filter
- Idiot who caused accident even snapchatted a picture of herself on the gurney

I got all of that in a 5 second perusal of the article. No one said Snapchat is solely responsible but there is definitely a liability case at the least.

Don't you claim to be a police officer and are always going on about texting and driving? Your flip flop on issues makes me wonder.

You are making my post way more than what I posted. I mention a passenger.....never said a driver shuold be doing something.

Just because you CAN do something, doesn't mean you SHOULD. Every car manufacturer makes a vehicle that can go over 100 MPH, does that make them culpable anytime someone goes over the speed limit?

Our society is decaying into an attitude that nothing is the individuals fault - and that is troublesome.

Interesting video about light bulb types and testing using just reflection from a CD disc. The guy's got a nice shop, but he seems a bit... particular and slightly strange. But then aren't we all?

Yea, very goofy dude.....but very cool video. I use a LED ribbon front front to back of the garage on a motion sensor. Wife pulls vehicle in, it turns on. Leaves garage, it turns off. Wife enters garage to go to vehicle, it turns on.

Things are so flippin bright! My whole setup costs like 8 bucks. Amazing.

Anyone checked this out? Is it any good?

Said many times, I love it. Disclaimer, I am not a MMO kind of guy. I really enjoy the lore of the series, and they do a very good job with the story line. I also do not do PvP, I just enjoy being in the world, exploring, doing the missions. I am running 6 toons.

/I did find a ton of mods that make the game more user friendly. Again, don't know shit about shit of what it is supposed to look like - but mods helped immensely with loot inventory, maps, some other visuals, etc.

Prescription drugs were in his house? OMG, I have prescription drugs in my house! Am I going to die?!

Yah, well ... I read in another shocking article that he kept carrots in his refrigerator. We all know how dangerous that is!

If you want to hear a horror story about drugs and carrots let me know (NOT FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE!!!!!!).

But remember Jackson was also on drugs prescribed to him that were only used in surgeries.

heh. Be interesting to see how this plays out......privy to non public info - so it is always fun to watch the media throw up all over themselves.....

I had forgotten about the draft, which is a bummer, as I went to the Vikings draft party (assistant to the VP gave wife and I tickets - long story). I wanted to take a buddy this year that eat, sleeps, drinks, poops, college and NFL football. Whoops, forgot about it, so we hung out at his house and watched the draft and played with the kids. Was probably more enjoyable that way - drinking free beer and eating free food rather than 20$ hamburgers and 9$ water beers.

Call of Doody?

Be nice to just port it into new engine, game is hard to play now, so pix-elated. I didn't realize how bad it was back then, but being colorblind, the new colorblind modes would be nice. Very hard to see bad guys in 4.

Being from Minnesota.....I can officially say that I am anti Prince (and I "liked" his music). It has taken over this ridiculous state.......I am over him/it. Let us move on please. I don't need Prince on repeat on EVERYFUCKINGSTATIONANDCHANNEL.

If people cared 10% as much about important shit as they do this fuck.......world would be a better place.

Rockstar can shove their console garbage straight up their dumb asses. I do not give a single fuck until they start treating PC gamers with a minimum of respect which would entail porting RDR to PC and stopping to sign ludicrous exclusivity deals while then "teasing" PC gamers about the possibilities of a PC port (the way they treated PC gamers with regard to GTA V was among the most disrespectful asshole dick moves in recent history only topped by what Microsoft pulls off on a regular basis). Fuck them all. Not spending a single cent on that console garbage.
I love comments like this, you're essentially saying that you would rather sit on your high horse versus playing an enjoyable game. That'd be like a console player saying that Freespace and Tie Fighter aren't worth playing because they aren't on consoles. Instead, the right answer is that they're all enjoyable experiences if you have the platform to support it.

Zactly. I am sure they had no clue how popular it was going to be, so coded the game as though it would never be ported. There has to be some massive barriers in the way for them to have never ported the damn thing......or they have been working on RDR2 for some time....

Yeah, in that context pretty much nobody plays it:

.0075% of the player base has played the game in the last 24 hours......
