Stop picking up all those stupid pipe pistols and armors everywhere. They're not worth shit, and weigh a freaking ton. If you focus solely on building/crafting materials, you can easily loot 2 - 3 locations before having to make a quick fast travel back to dump stuff. (Unless you have strength 1 or something.)

If you're planning on doing any kind of building at all, here's how the loot priority works out:

1) All junk

2) Weapons with high dollar/weight values.

...

5000) Everything else.

If you don't plan on building, then obviously skip all junk except for things like pre-war money, cigarettes and gold/silver pocket watches.

Another good trick is to throw everything from a location in a box near the warp/fast travel spot, so you can come back later and clean up.

Damn, man I was up till 5AM with FO4...and when I shut it down I thought it was about 2AN, heh. Is there a way to see what an item breaks down into before you pick it up? Right now I'm just grabbing everything and then going through my inventory and dumping what I don't need and it's a PITA.
Actually, when looking at a container try using the transfer option that will open a transfer/barter screen . Then when you select the item is should give you a component breakdown in the center of the screen.

Also, why not just dump it all in a work bench with the transfer all junk option. That way if you need it later , you still got it.

Because I want to focus on prioritizing materials. I don't want to be loading up on just everything and heading back to Sanctuary every 2 minutes.

Isn't there a PERK that tells you what mats are in an item and you can flag them? Then just pickup stuff you want at the time?

Hell I just grab ERRRRTHING, first couple of upgrades are usually STR just to have more ability.

//believe me, the time it takes to "oh damn, I need 2 X items, and have to go find an item with it in there" is a lot more time wasted than just grabbing everything worth grabbing.

OK, PC question time....

I got my new CPU installed without a hitch, yay! Pulled the rig apart gave it a good cleaning blew everything out. And doesn't it always suck when you put them back together and then it doesn't work, so again, yay when it does.

So the BIOS sees the CPU ok - AMD FC-8350 8 core 4Ghz. However, it shows my Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1866 RAM as 1333, and it's currently running at 1559. When I look at the memory profile it shows that in - I think - JCP it displays as 1333 but in XMP it shows 1866. I seem to recall having this issue when I first set this rig up last year - as everything was new except the CPU and GPU.

I set the mem spd to 1866 but it doesn't seem to make a lick of difference. Any ideas? The board is an ASUs M5A97 R2.0.

Also, how crazy is this weather? I actually did this on my outside workbench in t-shirt. It's 12C atm, and supposed to be 14C tomorrow, yowsa!

Weather is crazy as fuck in Germany too, 14C today.. , as for your XMP problem, most 1866 profiles require ram voltage higher than the default. Meaning your ram is probably rated for higher voltage than it is auto assigned by the bios.

If the ram notices the timings can't be achieved it downclocks to the next lower profile. Did you check ram voltage on the sticks for 1866 rating and in the bios match up?

I think we are thinking the same thing - one stick is not achieving max ability so it is down clocking? I would run a test on them independently if you are able. Update BIOS? Try using Afterburner or your mobos utilities? Sorry if you have done all of this, just off the top of my head.

Yeah man organized crime never does anything for shock value.

He's supposed to be a trained soldier with designs on actually gaining power. He should be professionally dispatching enemies and not acting like a low level goon. He should know that sneaking into an enemy establishment isn't the time for shock value.

*sigh

Not big on the over-the-top violence, simply because it seems like they're doing it for shock value.

It is a game titled MAFIA......

The game looks pretty, but appears to be running at about 15-20 fps.....even lower at times. Hopefully they can keep the polish and speed it up. FOV is terrible once again.

Maybe it is time to start believing in karma.

Reuters.

The ONLY logical explanation is that someone high up somewhere in the Gubmint or a lobbyist has or has been affected by HIV and AIDS and is disgusted that he is so blatantly ripping people off with a smile on his face.

He is new money - that upsets a lot of people.

I guess I am the only one in the world that doesn't really care about the new movie? I grew up on 4,5,6 - can't bring myself to make it through 1,2,3 - I get bored.

I will go see it when I can sit comfortably in an empty row and put my feet up without idiots in costumes and their cell phones.....

I find a lot of fun/challenge in trying to beat friend's times and scores. I was doing pretty good last week, I am sure if I log in it is going to tell me everyone beat me at everything. Kind of funny to watch all of the notices pop up.

Asked for a refund (less than 2 hours in game) within 3 hours of when I bought it - back when refunds weren't ok denied at that time. Now that refunds are ok, they denied me because "it has been more than 2 weeks since you bought it"

*shakes head

Put in another request with an explanation of above.

aaaaand denied again.

F em. Games and companies like that are just ruining future purchasing opportunities for other better products in EA. Done with it. Never again.

Game is not as grindy as Mad Max.

I am really enjoying JC3. Seems short though......50 hours for damn near everything. Very close to 100%.

Everything about Fallout4 and nothing about Just Cause 3?! Surprise, surprise...This place practically had a group orgasm at the announcement of it, now not a peep...hmmmm....

People can only play so many games at the same time. You can go play it for the rest of us, have fun

Played through NC3, I really enjoyed it. Now just cleaning up some challenges, beating some times of friends in some of the feats. Seemed a lot shorter and less content than previous 2 games, but a very fun game. I put down FO4 to play JC3. Probably jump back to Syndicate, finish that, then back to FO4.

JC3 53 hours. Maybe 1-3 hours left of play.

FO4 30 hours and just scratching the surface - just got to Diamond City....

I read an article that stated why e-Sports can never be considered a sport and this was the key reason being. Your skill is based on the data the company sets down and it is what they want it to be.
If your awesome with 1 particular weapon lets say and it's due to an overpower or technical issue in design, the company can just make the adjustment and gone.
Sure, you can get awesome at a particular game and become great, but in the end, it's the developers that have the final say on how great you can become based on what they want to tweak.

I feel this issue was moreso the developers wanted to create more headlines and get a little CS GO news headlines by adding a new gun but making it absurd enough that you would talk about it. Mission accomplished. After reeling in enough new players/old players, they correct the issue and hope new players/old players stick around a bit longer.

Yea, I have a hard time paying out money on a rock/paper/scissors type scenario.

I'd never get the flu shot, they're really dangerous. A good friend of my mom was one of those unfortunate people who was paralyzed by one.

They are lucky the paralysis wasn't permanent. The government and corporations are happy that people will inject whatever they're told to into their arms. It's all about the money, it's not about Grandma.

There's a good reason the majority of health professionals don't get them.

My friend's sister's mother's boyfriend's uncle......he got a shot and was just fine.....

It must suck for these people to live their entire lives in fear. Just everywhere they go, terrified something is going to get them.

Yup. I didn't get them until my son was born. If I brought that shit home and my infant son died. That is on me.
