The game was fun, but after going back and losing the naming of a whole cluster of a universe, whats the point? oh well. Was cool for the few days I played it. I have Fallout 4 to build bases, I don't need a space game to do that.

But I DID LIVE IT!

You're not living it right now. You have no idea what people are going through, times have changed since you and I were working 2-3 jobs. Sure we earned our success but that doesn't mean we get to spit on everyone else. You called them all lazy and had the nerve to say its white privilege when you have no fucking clue. Don't act like it wasn't your big mouth that got you here. You want to offer shallow surface opinions from talk radio? Fine but don't expect that they won't be challenged.

oh good lord. I mentioned Amazon as it is the LARGEST employer in the area right BEGGING people to work, now with 3 warehouses, has billboards (just saw they upped it to $17 an hour), hire on the spot, with benefits. (they are desperate right now - pulled an Amazon driver over a few weeks ago driving wrong way on the highway and she said she worked there for 4 months but has not had a valid license for 10 months)

I can't believe you're continuing on with this and your big idea is based on a personal anecdote. Ok let's see here. Amazon is hiring temps for Christmas. It hires and fires thousands of workers this way every year. I shouldn't even have to say this but apparently it isn't obvious so: the entire country can't work at Amazon. The entire country can't move to Minnesota either.

Hard work and opportunity are two different things. Many people are forced into hardship through no fault of their own and opportunities to work out of it are seldom. That's what people want, they want opportunity. They're willing to work their way up through the mail room but many of them can't get hired there because its in fucking China now and the company barely hires American workers. They aren't asking for handouts and don't worry, no one is going near your wallet since I suspect that's your real fear. So before you start throwing around accusations about white privilege and laziness, maybe try exercising a little thought and a little empathy about the subject instead of making sweeping generalizations you heard on talk radio.

Bla bla bla ignoring your ignorance.

They are new warehouses.

Easy to say, another thing to live it. You've been living in the cushy union world for a long time by your own admission, you have no fucking idea what other people are going through right now. Feel free to put your money where your mouth is and go work at an Amazon warehouse. Yeah I didn't think so.

Tired of this nanny shit. Work hard it will pay off. Bitch and cry and sit on your thumb and get nothing.

No one asked you to be fucking nanny of anything, you're the one acting like a jerk with no compassion to the downtrodden. What precious wisdom you offer them like JUST WERK HARD, I bet no one thought of that. It's ok guys, everyone can just work at Amazon warehouses hes got it all figured out.

But I DID LIVE IT!

You've been living in the cushy union world

wow....cushy? You have no fucking clue what I have been through. You are a fool.

I set myself up for success, and IT TOOK YEARS, so ignore everything I have said and cherry pick, I sometimes forget who I am conversing with.....

I seriously doubt a recount will change the results much, but we've been hearing for years about how vulnerable electronic ballots are. There should be a wide scale audit to at least give some evidence one way or other about the actual incidence of tampering with electronic ballots. They've done similar things in regards to claims millions of dead are voting and they tend to find you can count the number of actual cases on your fingers. What it does reveal is the voter registration system needs to be updated so deceased individuals are accurately identified and removed from the voter rolls. And while voter fraud by this method is very rare, what is very common are groups using often highly inaccurate data to purge large swaths of legitimately registered voters from the rolls.

Voter fraud exists. Two unknown people can go on election day and create this scenario over and over:

Person A: I want to vote
Voting Volunteer: Do you have an ID or anything with your address on it?
Person A: No.
Voting Volunteer: Who is going to vouch for you?
Person A: *Points to person B
Voting Volunteer: *Addressing Person B - Do you have an ID or anything with your address on it?
Person B: No.
Voting Volunteer: Who is going to vouch for you?
Person B: *Points to Person A
Voting Volunteer: Ok, looks good, here are your ballots.

Well voter vouching is not allowed in my state, and a quick google check suggests it's not as easy as you suggest. Further more what you have presented is not proof but a fictitious scenario you believe could happen. Why keep suggesting it's happening when you have no proof?

OTHER than the FACT that I watched it happen? On top of that I mentioned it to the MN legislators I know and they are aware of it and are frustrated. (Wasn't even aware you could do this, as common sense says it is not a good idea - until I saw it in action!)

Nothing you said has anything to do with white privilege.

If you rolled a 0 in wealth it doesn't mean you didn't roll high elsewhere.

And moving is expensive. Very expensive. That's why people don't do it. If you live in sw Kentucky and have no skills, you have no money for a deposit. You're lucky if you have money to physically move yourself.

Times aren't the same as they were for our parents. My dad went from nothing to owning his own business. These days, the type of business he owned doesn't really exist.

I rolled high in having a parent that gave a shit. That isn't a race thing.

Well, all the voting is done at the state level, so state level ids make sense to me.

You didn't address my question. If there is all this cheating going on for the Ds, why are the GOP winning so many elections? What level of GOP representation do you think would "accurately" indicate proper voting?

I never mentioned an association. I believe it is the right thing to do. Anytime fraud happens someone's voice is taken away and the news of it happening disenfranchises voters.

On a more common sense approach, the GOP is always complaining about voter fraud and the need for voter id laws. Yet somehow, they have a majority in the House, in the Senate, something like 30 of the state legislatures and just won the Presidency. What percentage of the representation do you think would be GOP if it wasn't for all this cheating? 90%? It doesn't even pass the smell test.

IDs are at a state level. Federal IDs have been shot down several times over both parties.

Problem is everyone wants something NOW, it is in your comments. Work a couple shitty jobs for a 1-3 years and show you are a proven hard worker to get a better paying job.

This is pretty naive Bats, come on. Of course people want the ability to work, have shelter and the ability to raise a family. Those are basic tenets of society. These aren't kids fresh out of school acting like they're owed an 80k salary. Many people have been stuck in dead end jobs with a barely livable wage for awhile now, the sorts of jobs you're talking about are centralized around cities or just don't exist anymore. Trump just got elected on the backs of people who have been doing that for much longer and still can't find work. You have a low unemployment rate in Minnesota but other states haven't been so lucky.

Traffic fatalities will almost drop to zero the second that AI takes over all vehicle traffic.

Traffic fatalities will be nearly 100% when the AI realizes this is an efficient way to get rid of many humans

We moved several times so my father could be closer to better jobs. How come people don't want to try harder? What is wrong with moving? We moved a state away and away from all of our family. Single father raising me, shit was tough. We lived in people's basements and didn't have a "home" until I was well into high school. My father was too proud to take assistance so we went without many nights. I went to bed many nights without food. So I am tired, really fucking tired, of this "white privilege" shit. We had nothing. We were given NOTHING. We went WITHOUT. My father started in a shitty job at Cargill in the mailroom making a shitty wage. He worked there 32 years and retired near the top. He taught me to work hard and never stop.

So tell me, please, what is naive about my experience and all of those the shitty years? Why am I shamed by others for my hard work and success? Gets old.

Says the guy working for the government with one of the few union jobs left protecting his ass. I've never seen a more "fuck you, got mine" post before, talk about ignorant. Go out there and find one right now in this fucking job market then you get to talk about how other people are lazy. Plenty of fucking work in fast food, not exactly a ton of jobs with benefits and good pay to support a family. People don't have time machines to go back and cherry pick the careers that others simply got lucky with.

I got very lucky with my career choice so unlike you I'm not going to sit here and lecture other people about theirs. Your idiotic bootstraps argument is talk radio bullshit. Plenty of hard workers out there, that doesn't mean they have the education or training to do a job in a high paying field. That shit takes time and money, they can't just flip a switch and change careers because theirs was outmoded by Bill fucking Clinton.

eh, if I lost my job today I could get 5-10 jobs. I have so many friends who own businesses that can't get people to work. Amazon added 3 warehouses here in Minneapolis area and are begging people to work.

You want to work, here in MN you can. End of story. So the fuck you is to YOU redmask.

I didn't get where I got overnight, took a hell of a lot of work including working full time and going BACK to school full time and on weekends for over a year - and I already had a 4 year degree. I worked several jobs, been unemployed, worked my ass off.

I came here to say this. It also made it worth visiting the site daily. Now I'm one and done.

? Sales are the same. Vendors pick prices, not Steam. It was a waste of time to wait the whole week when all they did on the last day was give you the lowest price of each game. Now they just do that up front.
