Of course my advantage is that it's warmer in my office, and I have a space heater up here as well... I guess that's cheating.Maybe she'll get you a newer space heater on monday for your birthday, and then snag the old one. Then the war can resume on evenish grounds...
For I second I read that as Michael STACKpole.. wishful thinking hehe.Yes, his writing is decent. I wouldn't mind seeing some RPGs based on his non-SW work, actually; a Talion RPG would be slick, as would one based on the Dragoncrown saga...
I have to admit, I was a little worried about today's game. The Rams were playing pretty good ball, were coming in healthy and we were down two starting linebackers.yeah, I have a couple friends who are Seabags fans, and one says that the Rams always seem to beat them 3 times a year.
AOE 3 has its feet firmly squared in RTS real time and Civ 4 is a Turn based game.I prefer the term TBS; for Turn Based Strategy. Also, 'RTS real time' might be deemed an outlawed term by the Dept. of Redundancy Department.
No hot keys out of the box?I agree with the G-Man; there's hotkeys aplenty; most of them are on that z-board, but the ones from previous AoE/AoM games (find idle villager being one of the most important) are there too; not just assigned to those weird z-board circle keys. The below is from the demo readme; I'm at work now, so can't check the main readme - note it is not fully inclusive..
