But there is a chance that there is a totally separate audience playing kinect that are somehow totally segregated from "gamers"

The game is better than today's reviews are indicating.

The guy runs a videogame company: he isn’t cleansing Borneo of its rainforests or running third-world sweatshops.

There's also this heavy focus on presentation efforts over depth of gameplay, FFXIII for example is the ultimate waste of years and millions of dollars just to make a poorly written pseudo-movie.
