Awful lot of that from all sorts of different places, seems like, no? Way too many talking heads telling people what to think, rather than presenting full information and allowing the viewer to judge on their own.

True, and? What does that have to do with the responses to this?

Project Veritas are among the worst and the sooner they disappear the better. They are guilty of exactly what they claim to be fighting.

You have to try pretty hard to get banned, like out and out racism or incitement to violence.

Sadly, many conservatives appear to define those things as core conservatism.
Not outright, but they defend any person banned for those reasons, plus harassment, as being "banned for being conservative."

Yet they complain when other people point out their racism, their sexism, and so on. They define it as part of their ideology yet they complain when it's pointed out.

That might be a good thing, but without the blue states who will fund the government handouts that the red states get?

I know what you originally got upset about, I'm just abridging it because it's not worth the bother. It's not like a long winded explanation is going to help you.

that wouldn't fly if the cards were reversed

So it's narrowed down to basements. oh the horror.
I am just so glad i don't suffer from white fragility.

Hahaha, watching racists feign ignorance when they attempt to defend blatant racism is hilarious. So many outing themselves here, it's glorious.

It's an article about 'AI mislabeling a video of Black men as "primates" was "unacceptable."' and you're here unironically upset because someone said white fragility is a thing. You appear to be the racist attempting to defend, or at least deflect, blatant racism. And hey, you've succeeded. Well done!

This is hardly surprising given that the percent of black software developers is under 5%.

There was another case a few years ago: a company developed sensors for automatic water and soap dispensers for public restrooms. It failed to detect black hands. Turns out, no blacks were involved in the development or testing of the devices.

Yes, and the reason for that is that black skin reflects much less light than white skin. 33% or greater, on average. It's not because the white people programming it are Klansmen. Why should blacks be involved when they're an absolute minority? It doesn't make any financial sense in the least. This is the problem I have with unchecked radical liberalism. That all white people should subsidize anything that doesn't cater to blacks specifically - which is racist in and of itself. We always hear about how we need more black business, well there's your fucking niche to fill. Otherwise you pay for it!

Cutter logic: having water and soap dispensers work for black people as well as white people is unchecked radical liberalism and racist in and of itself.

I was ridiculously slow to make the connection but Cutter is, in effect, advocating for segregated water fountains. He's as racist as he is sexist, and that's saying something.

Concerns from people who think ethical journalism is journalists saying what they want to hear, and getting offended because they heard something they didn't want to hear ... which wasn't even what was actually said.

Not sure what made up timeline you are referring to, but journalists having relationships with devs to get special treatment, generally having an insider buddy hook up / blacklist network, along with the long standing issue of content being controlled by industry ad revenue are all worthy complaints that somehow was responded to with 19 "gamers are dead" articles within 4 days.

A flimsy pretext for a bunch of misogynists to spend months whining about women invading their safe space.

No, the problem is you don't understand fact from fantasy. There are zero assumptions involved. A few people getting upset about something here or there has always been true. However, the liberal left has been going batshit bananas about fucking everything for decades now. And it only gets progressively worse. The rest of the normal world isn't bringing you participation medals or capitalizing the word Black when referring to black people, oh wait, you can't even call them that any more without a death threat or being called a goose-stepping Nazi. Time to come out of your reality distortion bubble and take a big whiff of reality.

Weird how you keep on saying the things you can't say. How does that work?

I mean maybe Cutter has a point here - their "wokeness" and fragile sensibilities makes them outraged when a game features plot points or structures that doesn't cater to their specific tastes, and instead of simply ignoring the game they want the game to change to their tastes. But they won't look to the mod community to do it, they take to Twitter and rag on the developers.

Oh, you mean like all the people sending death threats to the Last of Us 2 devs because they didn't like the plot points or structures, and it didn't cater to their specific tastes?

Those woke KotakuInAction people?
The voice actor for the antagonist of Boyfriend Dungeon is getting the same treatment...
Which sort of reinforces the point that sociopolitical lean is practically irrelevant on whether someone's an entitled little shit that takes entertainment media way too damn seriously, despite everyone rushing to peg the blame on only that.

No it doesn't. Not even close. I don't hear anyone from the center or right making death threats to game devs because they're not getting what they want. This shit is always and only from the left-wing extremists. 'What?! What do you mean the protagonist isn't a multiracial pansexual SJW!?!? I'll fucking kill you if you don't make that happen!!!'

Wait till you hear about GamerGate, it will blow your mind.
