I'll definitely watch this, but what the fuck, trailer makers! I stopped watching like halfway through; they're giving away the entire story arc, if not most of the plot. Ugh.

It's a real hazard to go to movie theatres now, every preview is basically a Cliff's Notes of the film. I know, I know, it's been like this for years, but it just seems a hell of a lot worse now.

Oh god dammit. Stop getting distracted and FINISH THE NOVELS.

That said, I'm sure his 'consulting' consisted of a phone call or two and getting paid a gigantic check, but still.

Hrm, it's cool (potentially) that Opera got its shit back together, but don't forget they were bought out years ago by a group of Chinese companies/parties, including Qihoo, a security/search firm.

Odds of various Chinese intelligence agency hooks in Opera at this point seem quite high.

Welcome to surveillance/wasteland Dystopia 2019!

I've been having a lot of fun with Rage 2. I have a few friends playing Mordhau and while they say it's somewhat lacking in content, the gameplay is insanely fun.

I got Mordhau, some people I know got into it and love it; I figured I'd try it.

It's well done, but to me a little bare bones? It suffers from Battlefield-Nub syndrome as well, as the 64 player servers usually have one team playing the objectives and the other team clueless. It's still early, of course, maybe the player base will wise up a little.

Sigh. That actress(Ruby?) is hot, but she also looks like she weighs about 90 pounds. At least get some woman who looks like she can physically kick somebody's ass. 150+ pounds, muscled, mean snarl on demand, etc.

That's just Hollywood. I mean, she looks like she could totally kick 1989 Michael Keaton's ass.

She kicked ass in John Wick 2 just fine. In any case, the show is based on a comic book in which a grown man fights crime in a cape alongside a 13 year old boy he calls his "ward."

Meh, opinions will differ of course, but I thought she looked ludicrous in John Wick 2, and I loved that movie overall. Martial arts by tiny people with no muscle mass just looks ridiculous after awhile, especially if they are fighting 200+ pound athletes.

But hey if you guys are digging the show/trailer, great!

I will mutter darkly in the corner about yet another unrealistic martial arts show with a non martial arts actor, aka Iron Fist, RUINED forever by Netflix.

Wow. That's some serious arm and core strength, balance, and willpower.

I can do handstand pushups (after years of work) but I sure as shit am not going to even attempt 70-80% of that video.

More on topic: That's some serious praise for the Chernobyl HBO series... I'll definitely watch it after I finish Deadwood, and watch something a little more...upbeat... in between.

People tell me they do like some of these DC shows, Arrow, Flash, etc. I haven't really gotten into trying to watch any yet though.

Maybe I should; they can't be worse than the Netflix Marvel shows?

Hrm, I'll probably wait a bit. I liked Spellforce 3, but it was easily one of the buggiest games I've played in recent memory, on release day. To be fair it did get patched up quite a bit; hopefully Soul Harvest comes out a little more polished.

Wow, congratulations to Tripwire! I'm burned out on KF2, but it's a pretty fun horde game, with excellent shooting mechanics.

Sadly for Tripwire, this is probably 5 times the money they've gotten from their sim-ish WW2 games, which I think is their real focus? Oh well, $100 million is $100 million.

I will definitely get this...eventually. Probably January or later though. Let the Denuvo, locked guns, DLCs, etc. all get sorted out, a price drop, a GotY version, etc.

Well, basically they're telling me to wait until January or so to bother buying this. Thanks, Bethesda!

Plenty of other games to play in the meantime, seriously.

And there's always rich early adopters but moving a few hundred or a few thousand units ain't gonna' cut it. I still maintain the major problem with VR is there's no real reason to use it. Not that there couldn't be, there just isn't right now.

This is unfortunately the case. I don't know of any killer games that are VR only and available, or even upcoming ones. Maybe that Starfleet bridge(of the spaceship, not cards) game? Probably too niche to even matter.

Until then, keep buying VR headsets, people! I'll get in on the action in about 3-4 versions or so.

*EDIT* That said, Valve isn't wrong per se, they have the money to burn on VR endeavors and probably are just hoping to keep VR development moving along, betting on the future.

This... looks like it has almost zero to do with the comics, or even that universe? What the fuck, the watchmen didn't have special WATCHES, what's with all the clock references for fuck's sake?

Not that kind of 'watch,' HBO.

Besides, saying a series is from the people who made 'Lost' ... isn't that saying that basically it'll probably be directionless, overly emotional shit that has no real plot goals?

Hrm, very nice. I did one playthrough at release, loved the game, even with some minor bugs. No gamebreaking ones for me.

I'll probably do another playthrough relatively soon, with a different PoEt 1 character, and maybe turn based, although that is going to be SLOW AS SHIT, I'd think. Hopefully cyou can swap out of TB back to RTWP or vice versa?

Yeah.... I thought Blood was okay back in the 90s, no way am I paying money for this version in 2019. Good luck though!

*Note: Not an endorsement of piracy, I mean I personally won't be buying this.

I was pretty psyched for this game, although I'm tempted to wait now, since they are version locking some weapons for bullshit marketing reasons.

The actual gameplay still looks fun though!

I played the first game, and this looks almost nothing like it. That's a plus, by the way.

It's hard to imagine a disgruntled Claptrap.

Reading the article, I'd say disgruntled is an understatement. He did voice work on two hit games and received no compensation for his actual voice acting work? That's making me rage out just thinking about it.

Gearbox's greedy bullshit strikes again. Luckily the Borderlands 3 decision is mostly out of my hands for a year or so; I'll pick it up on a $9.99 Steam sale or something eventually.

It's interesting how much press Bernie gets but the establishment lines up behind people like Clinton and Biden.

It isn't really that surprising or interesting. Bernie hates the Democratic Party. He spent his entire career talking about how terrible it was, and how terrible the people in it are. He very openly joined it solely to run for president.

Put yourself in their shoes - some guy that's always belittled and demeaned you suddenly decides to join you for his own best interests, not yours. He still maintains that he does not agree with you on many of your core points, wants to do things differently than what you think is right, and essentially wants to dismantle you and rebuild you in his own image. Do you happily put all your support behind him? Probably not. Fundamentally, he wants you destroyed.

I'm not saying it's the right response, but it's pretty understandable. He's not a democrat, really. I think much of America is saying, good, we don't want another democrat, but if you are a democrat, he's not a new wave, he's a destroyer.

That's pretty much a description of Trump and the republican party, unintentionally ironically.

Still, I think it's more fair to say that Bernie wants an upheaval of both the Democrats and the Republicans. He's not exactly wrong in realizing that political parties don't care about actual American citizens in any way other than lip service.

Still, it cracks me up when people in the US call Bernie Sanders a socialist. He's like center right for most other industrialized countries.
