Assassin's Creed Animus Hub Revealed

Ubisoft shares details on the Animus Hub, a new online feature which will launch on March 20th with Assassin's Creed Shadows on all platforms. This isn't just for the new release, word is this is "your new home for Assassin's Creed games." It will not support titles released prior to Assassin's Creed Origins upon launch, but it will continue to evolve, and is said to be "just the beginning of our journey." The quick FAQ also quickly addresses an obvious potential concern saying this is fully integrated into the game, and there's no intention of turning this into a standalone launcher. Here's an introductory video and here are some details on what function it serves:
THE ANIMUS HUB IS a seamless entry point to the latest games of the Assassin's Creed franchise. When you first launch Assassin's Creed Shadows, you'll immediately be immersed in a new Animus environment, the hacked Dark Animus of Assassin's Creed's modern-day world. As you navigate the Hub, you'll be able to access a timeline of recent heroes in the franchise, additional quest lines in AC Shadows, and most importantly, you'll unlock free rewards as you progress.

The driving force behind the Hub has been the Animus and what it represents for the Assassin's Creed fantasy. The goal is to shine a light on the Animus itself and explore what makes it such a powerful storytelling device within our universe.

Vampire Dynasty Renamed Vampires: Bloodlord Rising

Toplitz Productions and Mehuman Games announce Vampires: Bloodlord Rising is the new title for the game formerly called Vampire Dynasty that was announced in 2023. This branding reboot comes with an overhaul to the game's core concept, saying this involves a redesign of the main protagonist and new character-driven choices, castle-building, and management of your vampire subjects. The new name is now reflected on the Steam Listing and a new Dragos Gameplay Trailer has more on what's changing. The included details suggest much of this is cosmetic:
The progress the game made in all areas since its last public showing is mostly noticeable with the updated look of Dragos, the game’s main vampire protagonist who gets a more virile and haunting appearance, including a complete overhaul to his attire. Gone are the long flowing locks and beard, now replaced with a more chiseled clean cut design to show off his fearsome features.

Vampires: Bloodlord Rising has in recent months made visual improvements to various materials and textures including the building elements that players will utilize to build their own custom Vampire castle. An improved lighting system to the entire game has been introduced along with a totally overhauled onscreen UI system. Level appearance has also undergone visual improvements including even the smaller details such as the appearance of grass, water and even fog behavior, all benefiting from upgraded visuals.

Australian Lamb TV ad - one of the funniest ads you will see - Beloved Brands (thanks Console General). Okay, the hype is real, that's very funny and insightful. I'm not sure it is for broadcast with an over three minute run-tine, but whatever the intent, it's a 10 out of 10. Chef's kiss. Also, happy National Peanut Butter Day! I just learned about the occasion myself, so I thought I'd spread the news.
