Siege Camp announces Airborne is the next chapter in Foxhole, the military MMORPG set in a massive World War II-inspired conflict. This major update will take the conflict to the skies when it arrives next year. This was introduced during the game's annual update reveal livestream, which you can catch up with on Twitch and shown off further in the Announcement Trailer. Here's more on the battle plan, including a bit on the launch of the game's Infantry update in a couple of weeks:

Step into the cockpit of an array of aircraft, from nimble fighters to powerful bombers. Paradrop with your squad behind hostile lines to cripple supply chains and sabotage enemy equipment as a paratrooper. Ground crews will also play a crucial role, keeping the skies filled with firepower, by rearming and prepping aircraft for their next mission. Logistics forces have also been upgraded with aircraft production and deployment. With these expanded roles, ground, naval, and now airborne players will all converge in the same playable world to create a seamless online battlefield!

In addition to the “Airborne” update, players can look forward to the “Infantry” update releasing on November 18th. This update will overhaul infantry combat with new suppression mechanics, weapon shouldering, and a stamina overhaul, alongside other features to make infantry much more impactful on the battlefield.

Today is Election Day in the U.S. If you are a voter, I'm really hoping this is not the first you're hearing of this. MrsBlue and I are about to duck out to do our civic duty. I promised the Pickle Rick on my desk an "I Voted" sticker, and he seems excited about that. We expect things to go smoothly for us, so I really appreciate those who willingly endure long-lines and other obstacles that stand between them and democracy. The stakes are high and the rhetoric has reflected that, so hopefully we can proceed peacefully through this process and its aftermath, Guy Fawkes Night notwithstanding.

To follow up on my jury duty summons, last night I learned I don't have to report tomorrow, so my luck held out. My next check-in is after business tomorrow, when I find out if I'm required to report on Thursday. I'll keep you posted.
