Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree Launch Plans

This not tweet has the global release schedule for the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion for Elden Ring. To be clear, this will come to the action/RPG at the exact same time in all regions, which is June 20th at 6:00 pm EDT, so there's a map showing when this is in various territories. This post has details on a day one patch as well as an update for the base game that includes several new features for all players. On one more related note, a separate xeet has updated minimum and recommended system requirements. Here are those:

The Talos Principle 2: Road to Elysium Released

The Road to Elysium is now wide-open on Steam, expanding the Windows edition of The Talos Principle 2. The expansion is also available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This is a three-part "coda" to the game comprising three individual "character-driven" stories adding new challenges to the Croteam's first-person puzzle game. Fallen Aces Rises

Fallen Aces is now available in Early Access for Windows on Steam, kicking off a neo-noir first-person shooter set in the 1990s. A post called Da Launch Plans explains that Early Access is the first of what's planned as three episodes The OUT NOW trailer takes a very brief look at the game's comic book inspired visuals and an earlier Release Date Trailer shows off its "everything is a weapon" philosophy. For the first week this can be had for 24% off. Here are the details:
Fallen Aces is a FPS crime noir that plays right out of the '90s and looks right out of a comic.

SunnySide Released

Steam now features the release of SunnySide, a casual farming and life simulation for Windows, with console editions expected to follow on August 16th. This promises the chance to "find harmony in the Japanese countryside," and since you can't spell harmony without h-o-r-n-y, there's a chance to find love too. Next EGS Freebies Revealed

The free games box on the Epic Games Store is now updated with next week's giveaways, saying next Thursday the store will start handing out free copies of Freshly Frosted and a Rumble Club Free Game of the Week Bonus. Upcoming giveaways are normally revealed on Thursday, so this relieves the concern we expressed about the future of the freebie program when this announcement didn't come yesterday.

Monster Hunter Stories Released

CAPCOM announces the global launch of Monster Hunter Stories for PC, PlayStation 4, and Switch, and the Windows edition of this updated Monster Hunter RPG is on Steam. The Launch Trailer is here to get this party started. Here's the story on the game and a couple of limited-time bundles:
Note: For the bundle products, "Monster Hunter Stories Collection" and "Monster Hunter Stories Deluxe Collection", the limited bonus of both titles will be available to anyone who purchases the bundle by 11:59 p.m. EDT on August 31st, 2024.

Crime Boss: Rockay City Playtest Sunday

505 Games and INGAME STUDIOS announce another playest will start on Sunday for the Steam Edition of Crime Boss: Rockay City. You must request access, but everyone who applies will get in. This will help vet the game while giving players a chance to see all that's been done to recover from the rockay launch for the heist shooter. Word is: "Crime Boss: Rockay City has come a long way since our initial launch last year! And we can't wait to welcome more of you into this incredible community. We have a super bright future ahead of us." The news also reveals the Steam edition will get an additional 20% launch discount along with the inclusion of all the game's DLC. LOLLIPOP CHAINSAW RePOP in September

Dragami Games announces LOLLIPOP CHAINSAW RePOP will be digitally released worldwide on September 25th for PC via Steam and for consoles. A first trailer shows off this remaster of the 2012 zombie action game. This promises the "definitive version" of the game, with improved framerates and graphics, quality of life improvements, and additional content. A first trailer is here to show this in action. The Crust Next Month

Maybe I should go out and buy a lottery ticket to press my luck. I won our Final Jeopardy prediction game again yesterday by guessing the correct response based on the category before the question (answer, technically) was revealed (I won't say what it was out of consideration for time-shifters). It feels like cheating because I my response was literally the only thing I could think of that fit the category, but a win's a win, right?
