Crime Boss: Rockay City on Steam Next Month

June 18th is the Steam release date for Crime Boss: Rockay City, the Windows life of crime shooter that launched over a year ago on the Epic Games Store. Cagnali’s Order features four dystopian missions where the RCPD have been joined by an evil mega-corporation's robotic police squad. Bursting with new enemies, a new boss, playable characters (plus obligatory laser gun!), Cagnali’s Order forms the backbone of the expansion package (which already includes a re-worked gaming system, levels, weapons packs, heists and so much more.)

Square Enix announces the impending end of Epic Games Store exclusivity for KINGDOM HEARTS, saying multiple titles in the adventure series will launch on Steam on June 13th (we'd be willing to bet someone that press release was written in part by AI). Here's word:

Predecessor Adds BRAWL Mode

Omeda Studios announces a new game single-lane game mode called BRAWL is now live in Predecessor, the third-person shooter MOBA based on Paragon, its deceased, well, predecessor. The game is free-to-play in open beta through the Epic Games Store, Steam, and consoles, and this new mode eschews some of its strategy for even more action. This trailer takes a look, and here's more:
Brawl mode is perfect for those looking to jump into fast-paced battles and a chaotic meta. Beginning with 400 points, players will use takedowns, defense and wave management to overpower and dwindle the points of the opposing team. Players can slay opposing minions and monsters while calling upon the aid of a Might Fang Tooth, a destructive dinosaur that will destroy enemies on players’ behalf.

Out of the Blue

It's completely unimportant, but I wanted to add one more note about the recently concluded Knicks/Pacers playoff series. I'm a native New Yorker, but I am just as disgusted as many in the rest of the country were at the shameless way ESPN was all-in on celebrating the Knicks and their fandom. I feel it should be a compliment if you can't figure out who a sports reporter favors in a game. But the way they kept rolling out Stephen A. Smith to scream about "his" team was embarrassing. A lot of people hate New York on principle, and I certainly don't blame fans of teams from smaller markets feeling resentful at this sort of blatant bias. Like I say, not important, but I wanted to rant about that a little.
