Electronic Arts reveals plans to bring STAR WARS: Galaxy of Heroes to PC, offering a new way to access this mobile turn-based strategy game (thanks Game Informer). This is said to be "launching soon" on the official website, where applications are currently being accepted for a closed beta. These come with a warning that registration does not guarantee access. Word is mobile progress will carry over, and players will be able to switch freely between PC and mobile. Here's word:

Skaramazuzu Released

Skaramazuzu is now available for Windows on Steam, opening up a mysterious 2D world that's black and white with the occasional splash of red. This is shown off in the eerie Official Release Trailer. NeoSprint This Summer

Revived publisher Atari announces NeoSprint is its latest throwback project, saying this is a revival of the Sprint series of top-down arcade racing games. Snail Bite and Iceberg Interactive announce Dead Season, a turn-based tactics game based on the infection that will eventually infest every game with zombies. Out of the Blue

Thank you to everyone who helped with the Discord crashing problem I mentioned yesterday. I figured the glitch was on my end, but RedEye9 found a Reddit thread showing I was running into a known issue. This alerted me to the existence of a 64-bit test client for Discord that fixed things right up. This was especially excellent, since I would have tried the 64-bit client even if the 32-bit client wasn't crashing so frequently. Episodes like this make me aware of how distracting it is when something is amiss on my PC, even if it's relatively inconsequential. Fixing something like this almost feels like recovering from an illness or an injury. Weird cyborg symbiosis, that.
