This is said to be "launching soon" on the official website, where applications are currently being accepted for a closed beta. These come with a warning that registration does not guarantee access. Out of the Blue

Thank you to everyone who helped with the Discord crashing problem I mentioned yesterday. I figured the glitch was on my end, but RedEye9 found a Reddit thread showing I was running into a known issue. This alerted me to the existence of a 64-bit test client for Discord that fixed things right up. This was especially excellent, since I would have tried the 64-bit client even if the 32-bit client wasn't crashing so frequently. Episodes like this make me aware of how distracting it is when something is amiss on my PC, even if it's relatively inconsequential. Fixing something like this almost feels like recovering from an illness or an injury. Weird cyborg symbiosis, that.
