Out of the Blue

It's our penultimate trip to the farm this weekend for our Community Supported Agriculture share, a somewhat melancholy experience since the program is ending. I did what I could about the situation this week, sending off a letter to the owner of the farm expressing our disappointment and highlighting the possible unintended consequences of the move. I also provided a little guilt trip over how the move doesn't align very well with the farm's stated principles which was hopefully as subtle as I intended. I haven't received a reply, but maybe he'll be available for a follow-up conversation.
