BattleBit Remastered is a low-poly MMOFPS that's planned to come to Early Access on Steam next year (thanks PCGamesN). This promises multiplayer battles with up to 254 combatants with high performance thanks to the game's pared-down graphics. There are loads of videos showing off progress on the YouTube channel for developer MrOkiDoki. There's a "Request Access" button for those interested in participating in play testing. Here's word:

The Steam Top 10 list below alerts us to the launch of Nobody - The Turnaround, which arrived in Early Access on Steam last week. This is a life simulator from developer U.Ground Game Studio and publisher Thermite Games. The good news is the game sold well enough to land on the top 10 list. The bad news is that issues with older versions of Windows prevented many players from being able to install or play the game properly. As a result this announcement apologetically states the game has been removed from sale while the issues are ironed out. Those unwilling to wait for a fix are entitled to a refund. The Official Reveal Trailer offers a look at how the game is supposed to play. Here are some details:

Nobody - The Turnaround takes place in a parallel world similar to our current reality. The story unfolds in a modern metropolis, but not the concrete jungle as you know it. It's more about the undergrowth, the much less glamorous neighborhoods where actual life happens.

“You” are one of the ordinary “Nobodies” in this world. You do not have a distinguished family background, elite education, or once-in-a-lifetime business opportunities. However, through hard work and determination, you might eventually get rid of your troubles and make your way in this realistic society.

I may be in the market for a new phone soon. One day this week my alarm didn't go off because the battery was drained by the Sunday. I assumed that was on me, but last night it was dead by the time I went to bed again. This morning I put it on a charger and it jumped to 22% charge within a few minutes. I turned it on and it ran out of juice right away. I don't see any indication that this is due to malware, so it may just be the battery has hit the wall. But it's also possible this is all just due to me failing to pay attention (besides the weird 22% thing). It's a Galaxy S9, so it's been through a few cycles in its almost four-year run. I've got it fully charged again, which took a normal amount of time, so I'll keep tabs on it today to try and pin down what's going on.
