Out of the Blue

Happy National Video Games Day!

Knowing the team is still on an uphill climb to legitimacy, I'm overjoyed that the New York Football Giants managed a victory yesterday. It's the team's first opening day win in six seasons, and only its second in the last 12. Winning required a lot of things to fall into place, but that's what it takes to take down a genuine playoff contender when you are one of the league's perennial cellar dwellers. So yeah, I'm resigned to a lot of suffering this season, but I will certainly welcome more pleasant surprises like yesterday.

Pleasantly Surprised Round-up
Thanks Ant and Neutronbeam.
