Diablo III Turns 10

Blizzard is celebrating today's 10th anniversary of the launch of Diablo III, the action/RPG sequel that didn't seem destined to make the decade mark in its original auction house-centric form. The post includes the news that the Echoing Nightmare event from Season 26 is going to be a permanent addition to the game. Also, all bounties are being doubled between now and the end of the current season. Here's word:
Therefore, the Echoing Nightmare will become a permanent feature in Diablo III. Creating challenging, new, and exciting end-game experiences is always top of mind for us, so we’re excited to be keeping this experience around for good. This experience will be available for year-round play. If you have not had the opportunity to try the Echoing Nightmare out yet, get a taste of what it entails from our Season 26 blog.

The reward for hunting down some of Sanctuary’s most wanted just got a little sweeter! All bounties will be doubled from now until Season 26 ends. Here’s a breakdown of how you’ll have the chance to score more Legendary loot, such as the coveted Ring of Royal Grandeur.

Tin Can Released

Tin Can is now officially available for Windows GOG.com* and Steam, wrapping up Early Access for this survival game. This is the debut release from can-do developer Tin Can Studios, since no one can make Tin Can like Tin Can can. The game puts you in the same position as dear old Major Tom, sitting in a tin can, far above the world. In this case, the titular Tin Can is an obsolescent escape pod that's the only thing that stands between you and death in the vacuum of space. Here's a Tin Can Trailer showing off gameplay, and here's more:
Combining the best of survival and simulation, Tin Can offers an incredible amount of detail. It features micromanagement of your vital escape-pod systems, a realistic simulation of resources, and a procedural generation of events and failures, making each gameplay session unique. Lost in space in a fragile pod where only its thin hull separates you from the space void, your life depends on your ability to discover ways to mend and repair your pod’s broken systems while staying sane and healthy until rescue can be called if they answer at all… Alone, trapped in space, with nothing more than your heavy breathing, rising panic, and oncoming terror, how do you prevail and overcome asteroid fields and nebulas. You are solely responsible for every component and system on the pod. Dismantle, swap, fix broken items, and study the detailed onboard manuals for guidance.
