Halo Infinite Battle Pass Can Earn You Credits

A tweet from Jerry Hook has a follow up from 343 Industries to the news of plans to change the economy in Halo Infinite. More details will follow, but Jerry announces that the Season Two Battle Pass for the first-person shooter will include the chance to earn premium credits just by playing the game:
Thanks to your continued feedback, we are happy to confirm Credits will be earnable in Season 2's Battle Pass. That means you will be able to earn Credits as part of your Halo Infinite progression. We’ll have more to share on this as we get closer to Season 2.

Steam Deck Anti-Cheat Update

An update from Valve outlines the progress on supporting anti-cheat software on its upcoming Steam Deck portable computers. Word is there will be native support for two largest such services, Easy Anti-Cheat + Proton and BattlEye. This lessens the likelihood of players getting caught cheating with their decks in their hands:
Our team has been working with Epic on Easy Anti-Cheat + Proton support over the last few months, and we're happy to announce that adding Steam Deck support to your existing EAC games is now a simple process, and doesn't require updating game binaries, SDK versions, or integration of EOS. Alongside our BattlEye updates from last year, this means that the two largest anti-cheat services are now easily supported on Proton and Steam Deck.

EOL for Watch Dogs: Legion

An update from the development team on the Ubisoft Website has an update on Watch Dogs: Legion. This expresses pride in the project, but also announces it will receive no additional updates going forward. Despite this end-of-life announcement, players will still be able to enjoy new reward tracks in the open-world hacking game going forward:
TU 5.6 was our final update for Watch Dogs: Legion. However, you can look forward to reward tracks in the Online Mode, containing both new and returning rewards. The current season 4 Rebels track, containing 80 ranks, will run until January 22, 2022, followed by Season 5 Stripes. After that, Seasons 3-5 will continue to cycle and return to the game, giving you the opportunity to acquire rewards you might have missed out on in the past. Some rewards to look forward to is a modified version of Aiden Pearce's jacket, and Jackson's mask and clothing set.

Out of the Blue

There's more playoff tackle football today, a perfect opportunity to settle in and hide from the cold snap around here. We do have a couple of errands to run, so that would seem to thwart that plan. But as I say, there's more crazy cold around here today, so while we're out and about I'll probably pick up some sort of portable heater to take off the edge.
