Might & Magic X - Legacy Returns

Ubisoft tweets that the issues that broke Might & Magic X - Legacy this summer have been cleared up. The fantasy RPG is now once again available for sale Steam and will presumably reappear soon on the Ubisoft Store. Word is owners of the game are being compensated with free DLC:
On June 1st, we made the decision to remove Might & Magic X - Legacy from sale following an unexpected issue that occurred after we shut down various services for cosecurity reasons, which prevented players from accessing some parts of the game and its DLCs. Our teams have spent the last few months investigating and testing the different solutions to make sure players' experience lives up to our standards in terms of quality of service.

Today, we're happy to announce that all conditions are met to bring the game back to the Ubisoft store and to Steam, and that new and returning players can now venture into the wide and mysterious world of Ashan again. In addition to the base game, we also took this opportunity to give all fans of Might & Magic X - Legacy the freedom to extend their adventure by accessing the DLC "The Falcon & the Unicorn", entirely for free.

Destiny 2: The Witch Queen Plans Spark Backlash

A post on reddit by Bungie community manager Cozmo23 has set off a bit of a firestorm for Destiny 2 players. This explains how the new content in the upcoming The Witch Queen expansion will arrive in the free-to-play first-person shooter. "If you get the Digital Deluxe Edition of The Witch Queen you will receive the expansion, all four Seasons for the next year, and the two Dungeons," the post explains. "If you get the Standard Edition, you can still upgrade to the Deluxe Edition to get the dungeons later. We will also be offering a separate way for you to purchase the Dungeons in the future, but they will not be included in the Season passes." VGC has done the math to explain what this means for those who want all of the Witch Queen dungeons:
Bungie had previously announced that it was also releasing a 30th Anniversary Pack for $24.99 that would include a third dungeon, which also would not be included in Season Passes.

As such, the cheapest way at the moment for players to access all three dungeons is to buy The Witch Queen Deluxe + 30th Anniversary Bundle for $99.99, which includes four Season Passes, the two dungeons and the 30th anniversary dungeon.

Anyone who buys the standard $39.99 version of The Witch Queen will have no access to the dungeons, even if they buy the Season Passes at a later date. The only way players with the Standard Edition can access the dungeons is to upgrade to the Deluxe Edition, or buy the dungeons separately at a later date (with the price to be confirmed).

No Man's Sky Expedition Four: Emergence Emerges

Hello Games announces Expedition Four: Emergence is now underway, bringing a new seasonal event to No Man's Sky, the space exploration game. This features its own narrative, and comes along with an update with game improvements. As you can see in the Emergence Trailer the expansion features the menace of sand-dwelling Titan Worms, just in time for the new Dune movie (or Halloween re-viewings of Beetlejuice). Here's a bit:
Across the universe, planets have been blighted by the activity of Titan Worms. These colossal sandworms plough through the desert sands, blacking out the sun as they arc overhead, and defiling the very terrain with their cursed dust.

In Expedition Four: Emergence, travellers will find themselves stranded on planet Wasan, a barren world ravaged by dust storms and infested with Titan Worms. It is up to you to locate the Titan Worm impact sites, destroy the wretched Hungering Tendrils, and collect the Vile Spawn that lingers behind. The vessels of the many mouths must be purged!

The new Senna Forever expansion is now available for Horizon Chase Turbo, the arcade racing game. You can grab this for Windows, macOS, and Linux whether you own the original game on the Epic Games Store or Steam. This adds more than 10 hours of new content to the game in a celebration of the career of late Brazilian driver Ayrton Senna. Here's a new trailer and here are some details:

More than a playable character, “Senna Forever” allows players to relive through his entire career and historic feats. Out of the Blue

My services are required today to escort MrsBlue for an oil change for her car. No, this is not actually something that requires my presence, but it will prevent her from feeling nervous that she'll get railroaded into some needless expense. But that's fine, because there's this little deli near the shop that serves the most incredible egg sandwiches. It's not close enough to just pop in on a whim, but they are so good that they make spending a little time waiting for your car seem like the best thing that will happen to you all day. I think I'm going to take a picture of the description on the menu-board to try and recreate these on my own. Doritos (yes, Doritos!) and all.
