Wolcen Chronicle I: Bloodtrail Announced

WOLCEN Studio announces Wolcen Chronicle I: Bloodtrail is coming soon to Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem (thanks PCGamesN). This will be their first free content update for their action/RPG. Here are the details:
With Chronicle I: Bloodtrail, we also wanted to make a complete reset of the economy. Therefore, characters created before the release of the Chronicle will be moved to a separate Game Mode called Legacy, and they will not be able to interact or trade with characters created after the release of Bloodtrail. They will, however, still be able to interact or trade with the other Legacy characters.

Since the release of the game in February, we have released 17 patches for Wolcen in order to improve balancing, performance, servers, and fix the most common and critical issues. These last months, we’ve been preparing for Chronicle I: Bloodtrail, and although we chose to remain silent, we’ve been listening to your feedback and used them to enhance the game experience and improve the foundations of Wolcen.

This update is only the beginning of a new Wolcen’s journey, and we hope that you will join us for it.

Dawn of the Mexica Dawns

Dawn of the Mexica is now available for Windows and Linux on Steam, offering a historical fantasy turn-based roguelike set south of the US border. The game is set in the Valley of Mexico 500 years ago during Hernán Cortés' conquest of Tenochtitlán. Here's a gameplay trailer and here's more:
It is a complex turn-based tactical role-playing game. It focuses in simulation and a "classic roguelike" style which includes perma-death and procedural generation of every game scenario each time you play.

It includes a dozen character classes, more than one thousand critical attacks with text that may impair the characters' bodies in so many different ways, and a lot of unique characters, items and artifacts. To create these, there's been a deep historical research which includes mythical components of the mexica (azteca) myths.

In anticipation of the upcoming release of Demon Turf, a playable Windows and Linux trial version of this 3D platformer is now available on Steam. The game's previously released Reveal Trailer offers a look. Word is the trial includes the chance to be included in the final version of the game:
The highly-anticipated 3D platformer Demon Turf is coming soon, but before it does, you can get your pic in the game forever just by topping the leaderboard! Each week, Demon Turf: Trials will release a new mini-level, allowing you to compete against the world in a week long Trail. If you manage to be the best, your image will be ensconced in the game for all to see! And the best part? Demon Turf: Trials is free!

Out of the Blue

Our virtual Thanksgiving worked out pretty smoothly. We had an assortment of relatives dropping in and out of our Zoom call, and it was wonderful to be able to share the occasion with them. MrsBlue's little turkey and all the fixings turned out great. I even finally figured out a proper way to carve the bird by slicing off the breasts and then cutting them the other way, the way you filet a fish. All my previous efforts at this involved trying to slice the breasts the long way, but this worked out infinitely better.
