Anyone who has pre-purchased FM20 from a SEGA-approved digital retailer* can log into Steam and launch the Beta from their Steam library, right now. It's not too late to get access to the pre-release Beta either; as anyone who pre-purchases FM20 on PC and Mac between now and the game's release on Tuesday, November 19th (from a participating digital retailer) will see the Beta immediately added to their Steam library.
The pre-release Beta is a near complete (but not quite final) version of the game, so players may encounter some bugs and issues during play. These can be reported directly to the Sports Interactive team via the 'Report Bug' button on the in-game sidebar. Online play is also enabled, but there will be no access to the Steam Workshop or either the pre-game or in-game editors until the game's full release on November 19th.
Year 3 Season 4 takes place after the wreckage created by a massive sandstorm in the Wu Lin territories. Many warriors fled west and sought refuge in Heathmoor, while others stayed behind with the Emperor to rebuild an army. Among them, Sun Da, leader of the Zhanhu, found new ways to use fire in his laboratory at Qiang Pass, Year 3 Season 4’s newest map. Located at a narrow pass nestled between two mountains, the Wu Lin once built a grand fortress to claim the strategic route. With mountains on either side, the defending army only had to protect one front until a catastrophe weakened the fortifications. Now attackers amass at Qiang Pass, determined to open a path for their invading forces. In addition to adding a new hero and a new map, the new Season will also further balance heroes and certain hero feats. Yves Guillemot, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, said "Our second-quarter performance demonstrates the solidity of our back catalog, which was fueled by the strong momentum of many of our titles. Having already seen very sharp growth in the first quarter, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey delivered a further acceleration in performance compared with the previous opus in terms of sell-through, player engagement and PRI. MAUs for Rainbow Six Siege reached a record high during the quarter and its PRI continued to increase. This game is making its mark in a highly competitive environment, particularly in the esports arena.
As illustrated by our announcement last week, we are continuing to take decisions in the interests of Ubisoft's long-term future. It is as a result of this approach that we’ve been able to significantly and successfully transform our business model in recent years and create major shareholder value.
Diablo 4 is actually going to look dark, gritty and gross - no more rainbow shiny bullshit this time! Loactions are toned down, infrequently laid with corpses, wasteland, greyish deserts, clut caves surrounded by flesh, rotten crypts, marshes and bogs, plagued cities you name it. They are also seemingly much bigger, maybe even open? Characters now are able to ride horses (possibly other mounts), also there's contextual interaction with environment ? - climbing a wall Lost Ark style. Blood splatters look more like blood and not splashed jam too.
So far i can confirm 3 classes: mage (uses fire, ice and lightning so far), barbarian (swords, clubs, axes, kicks etc), and druid (lightning, wind, and transforming into beasts - so far bear and werewolf!).
Possibly there will be PvP from the start?. 4 player coop is there for sure.
All this game seems to be is a W I N K to the Diablo 2 fans, Lilith being the new diablo (she's covered in blood veil kinda), characters being shown sitting at a campfire as character selection, nitty gritty dark style that 2 was praised for, some skills also seem to be just taken from it and put in here (like sorceress' charged bolt). I'm interested and hope they don't fuck this up. The company is bad, but the game might not be this time.
2 points with "?" are just because it's not clear to me tbh... let's see what they say at the conference
