WB Games tweets a tease counting down to a game reveal on Thursday. DSOGaming says they've already accidentally shown this to be HITMAN 2, offering a link they said was for a logo, but this no longer leads to anything. It seems pretty certain they are right, as the HITMAN Twitter feed is teasing something for Thursday as well, and they keep retweeting the tweets with the leaked logo.

Red Faction Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered Edition Next Month

THQ Nordic announces a slight delay to Red Faction Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered Edition, which is now expected on July 3rd after being promised for Q2 of this year. They also announce that those who own the original version of this third-person shooter on Steam will automatically receive a free copy of the re-Mars-tering. They accompany the news with a new trailer and some details:
THQ Nordic is proud to align itself with the People Of Mars and confirm that Red Faction Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered will launch on PC, PlayStation®4 and across the Xbox One family of devices including Xbox One X on July 3rd, 2018. One more random fun fact about Mars (in real-life): Did you know that the planet Mars is named after the roman God of War? The ancient Greeks, however, called it 'Ares', after their God of War. We cannot help but wonder if future generations of gamers will eventually rename it 'Kratos'…

Red Faction Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered features:

  • Fully reworked graphics – heavily reworked textures and graphic features adding, for example, specular maps
  • Improved shadow rendering
  • Improved lighting
  • Reworked shaders and postprocessing

Jurassic World Evolution Getting Free Movie DLC

Jurassic World Evolution is set to launch for Windows on Steam on June 12th, just 10 days before the opening of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, the new movie in the series. Now GameWatcher has word that the DLC to tie in with the new film will be released for free on June 22nd, the same day the movie opens in the U.S. "Universal did a good job of briefing us about what they’re doing with the film," explains game director Michael Brooks. "We’ve already announced the free Fallen Kingdom DLC, we’ll be adding some of the new dinosaurs to accompany the US release of the film (June 22nd). Not saying how many, not saying which ones! Some of our favourites are in there, and some challenging ones too." There's also an interview on GameWatcher talking with Frontier's Brooks and Jonny Watts about the project, a conversation that includes an apparently serious question about whether research for the game involved "real-life dinosaur safari trips."

Battlefield V Details

A Battlefield V Deep-Dive on the Battlefield Website takes a detailed look at gameplay details in Battlefield V, the upcoming installment in the Battlefield series of military shooters. Here's the introduction explaining the goals of the article:
Battlefield™ V is a vast game. It will have many improvements to the classic formula, as well as new additions and features. Following the reveal of the next chapter in the Battlefield saga, we know you’ve been eager to get a lot of gameplay questions answered.

Let’s jump right in to the core gameplay changes and improvements that are coming in October. Remember, we are still working on the game, and the specifics of many features will evolve over time.

Two Key Elements: Immersion and Squad Play

A lot of ground will be covered in this post, but it will all center around two common denominators of the Battlefield V gameplay philosophy: immersion and squad play.

Now, immersion can mean many things. For Battlefield V, it spans visuals and sounds, your soldier’s movement, combat situations, how you will shape the environment and vice versa, and how players will act and react more naturally than before.

Let’s start with how you, as an infantry soldier deploying into battle, will maneuver through the battlefield.

Devil May Cry 5 Domain Registered

DSOGaming reports, by way of ResetEra, that the devilmaycry5.com domain was recently registered on behalf of CapCom. A new installment in the hack-and-slash series has been rumored for a while, but this is pretty concrete, and has inspired speculation that Devil May Cry 5 will be announced next week at E3.

Out of the Blue

Bonham Carter Rumored For "Bond 25" Villain. I'm all for it. I love her work, and the series could use the diversity, at least as far as women are concerned. When it comes to nationality, the films have drawn on a wide variety of sources, but gender-wise, as there's only been one female main villain before, Sophie Marceau. She was a forgettable part of the forgettable Pierce Brosnan era, so this would be a bit of a fresh start.
