Boss Key Accuses Epic of Poaching

In a tweet on Friday, Boss Key's Cliff Bleszinski called out his old mates at Epic Games for poaching employees, saying, "Hey @epicgames, could you please stop trying to hire away my team? We just launched @Radical_Heights on #UE4 and are really happy with how it’s going." VG247 points out that though he does not specify William McCarroll, the former LawBreakers programmer was recently hired by Epic, which prompted him to reply directly:

With all due respect, assuming that Epic is the one starting contact / poaching is a bit presumptuous. We all had our own reasons for making the choice to leave BKP for Epic, and to act like we are commodities being stolen is a bit hurtful. We are people first and foremost.

Watch Dogs 3 Plans Revealed?

A video posted 10 days ago makes the case that Ubisoft has accidentally revealed plans for Watch Dogs 3 amid some subtle teasing about the return of the open world hacking series (thanks PCGamesN). This notes that the Uplay April Fool's joke may have been Watch Dogs-themed, what with the hacking and all, and that a tweet from the Watch Dogs account was quickly deleted shortly, further raising suspicions. The follow-up for this shows that asking Sam, Ubisoft’s New Personal Gaming Assistant about Watch Dogs 3 bears much more fruit than one might expect. Here's Sam's take on the project according to the video:

Watch Dogs 3 is not finished yet, but from the last early build I tried it's very solid. The Dev team works wonders! Can't wait for you to try it.

M-Rated Agony to Receive AO PC Patch

A Kickstarter update for Agony discusses censorship in Madmind Studio's upcoming survival/horror game (thanks [H]ardOCP). Word is there are some "compromises" to how some of the game's content is presented to avoid an adults-only AO rating. They not an AO game could not be released for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, which would break one of their Kickstarter promises. They confirm they will create an optional patch for the PC edition to un-censor sexual and violent content, and they are offering console customers the chance to switch their order to the PC edition if they want in on this. Word is: "We also want to confirm that we are preparing a special, optional patch for PC that will remove the aforementioned "censorship". We would love to do something similar for consoles but from a technical and legal point of view it is simply not possible." They also reassure everyone that nothing previously shown in promotional content for the game is being cut, and to illustrate the kind of content this will affect, they offer animated screenshots showing gore, junk, and boobs, making this a NSFW update.
