They also confirm rumors that the Necromancer is coming to the game as part of a pack that will go on sale next year. They promise more details about this as BlizzCon rolls on, but also say an update is coming to the action/RPG sequel soon with two new zones accessible through adventure mode that will be free to those who own Reaper of Souls. New Heroes of the Storm Heroes

Blizzard just showed off new content for Heroes of the Storm, introducing an asymmetrical battlefield called Blackheart's Revenge, where only one team has a core to defend, while the other team is the attacker. This can be played by BlizzCon attendees, and they promise it will come to a Heroes brawl on November 15th. They also showed off a new cinematic introducing the next two heroes coming to the Nexus, Varian Wrynn and Ragnaros. Varian is a dual-class character who will come to the PTR next week and will go live on November 15. Ragnaros is described as a raid boss-style character who can wipe entire teams. They also announce a new Nexus challenge that will run from November 15th through January 4th, offering rewards in both Heroes of the Storm and Overwatch for playing together with your friends. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Released

Activision announces the release of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, the new futuristic installment in the shooter series. This includes a new single-player campaign, multiplayer support, and of course the return of space zombies. Additionally, there are premium Legacy and Digital Deluxe Editions which include Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. Here's word:
One of the most-anticipated releases of the year is here, as Call of Duty®: Infinite Warfare is available now digitally and at global retailers worldwide. The new title from the #1 top-selling console franchise in North America for seven consecutive years, delivers a bold, new direction by exploring the weight of leadership in an emotional, character-driven narrative. In a first for the franchise, Infinite Warfare introduces an all-new story happening throughout our solar system, delivering gameplay innovations, such as space dog-fighting and zero-g combat, as well as seamless transitions from experience-to-experience keeping players constantly immersed in the action. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is published by Activision Publishing, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision Blizzard, Inc. [NASDAQ: ATVI], and developed by Activision’s Infinity Ward.

In another first for Call of Duty®, Infinite Warfare also features the greatest bonus content in franchise history through the Legacy and Digital Deluxe Editions, which include Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® Remastered. A celebration of one of the most critically-acclaimed games in history, Call of Duty® 4: Modern Warfare®, the new remastered version has been completely enhanced for a new generation.

No Cross-play for Infinite Warfare or Modern Warfare Remastered

As mentioned above, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is now available, with the fancier editions of the shooter sequel including the release of Modern Warfare Remastered. This is currently cheaper on the Windows story than on Steam, but Eurogamer points out gamers should put some thought into where to pick this up. This is because this FAQ points out that the two versions will play well together. They say: "No, you can only play these titles with other users of Windows 10 on Windows Store." The reasoning here is explained in a comment from Microsoft on Windows Central suggesting that the fault is not with our stars, but with Activision, saying, "We support cross-play between devices and platforms for partners who want to enable it."

10 Million Play The Crew

UbiBlog announces The Crew is celebrating having hit the 10 million player milestones. The celebration consists of an infographic, helping prove they don't make parties like they used to. Here's one of the factoids they highlight:
The Crew’s sprawling facsimile of the US is one of the biggest open worlds ever created, and in the nearly two years since its release, players have free-driven a collective 11 billion kilometers across it, or about 6,835,083,115 miles (for those of us living in the actual US). That kind of distance – equivalent to a round trip to Pluto – took 19,430 player-years to rack up, a number made possible only because The Crew has hit 10 million players over its lifetime.

Rainbow Six Siege Free Map Plans

A new free map is coming to Rainbow Six Siege as part of Operation Red Crow. Be prepared to die hard, as this is set in a skyscraper. The UbiBlog has details along with a video and further details about Operation Red Crow. Here's word:
A new free map is coming to Rainbow Six Siege as part of Operation Red Crow, and you can get a look at it in the teaser video below. The setting is a building complex atop a skyscraper in Nagoya, Japan, where a pagoda and other traditional Japanese-style structures stand in stark contrast to the modern towers nearby. There’s a helicopter pad that seems to provide one point of entry for the attackers. As for other ingress options, now might be a good time to start getting over your acrophobia.

The clustered structures will make for some interesting dynamics as players seek out long sight lines and sneaky flanking routes. Inside the buildings, shoji walls and doors are just waiting to be shredded in battle, and there’s even a little weapons exhibit that Capitão might take particular interest in.

The Skyscraper will be the fourth free map released post-launch, but there’s still more to reveal about Operation Red Crow. Be sure to tune in to on November 12 and 13 during the Pro League Semifinals and Finals for a live panel and demo to learn more.

Out of the Blue

In spite of the warnings that we might get screwed by the process, we have settled our accident claim with out insurer, and everything seems to be working out fine. They declared our car a total loss and have already cut the checks to settle up. They gave us top dollar for our car and haven't presented any obstacles along the way. Now we turn to the process of finding a replacement car.
