Battle.net has
details on a new version of Blizzard's mobile authenticator, the app designed to
help keep user accounts secure. In the past users had to retype a code from the
app into Battle.net to log-in, but the new version offers one-touch
authentication within the app. Here's word on how this works: Whenever* a
log in attempt occurs on your account you will be notified via the app and
prompted to Approve or Deny the request. You can also approve log in requests
with notifications on your mobile or smartwatch without even opening the app! We
hope this will help ease the log in process for those of you that already have
an authenticator and encourage those of you who don’t to give it a try. You can
find out more about authenticators on our
Battle.net Authenticator FAQ.
The Mobile Authenticator with the new One-Button feature is available now on
iOS® and Android™.
*Please note that by default you will only need to approve a log in attempt once
a week per device. You can change this setting on your
Battle.net
Account Management page.

PayPal UK tweets an apparent confirmation of
recently leaked alleged dates for
the Steam Summer Sale 2016, saying, "It’s official: the @Steam_games sale starts
23rd June." This is not unprecedented, as PayPal has previously leaked the dates
of the 2014 autumn sale and the
2015 winter sale. Thanks

Slitherine announces the release of Scourge of War: Quatre Bras, an
expansion of their Napoleonic wargame that seems to involve four brassieres. The
official product section is where to pick up the expansion (which requires
ownership of the original Scourge of War), and they also offer screenshots and
all the details about this product. Here's the overview: Following and
expanding on the scope of the base game, Scourge of War: Quatre Bras heavily
focuses on realism about units, formations, tactics, weapon ranges and more.
You will find all of the historical units that originally fought, in an
extremely accurate order of battle. Each unit has its own commander and
objectives: under the orders of Marshal Michel Nay, the Duke of Wellington or
the Prince William of Orange, you are able to chose which side to take to
victory in five new scenarios covering all the critical phases of the battle of
Quatre Bras!
The battlefield is meticulously represented in a extensively researched
historical 5-mile x 5-mile map. You will be pleased to find all of the features
(and more!) that have made Scourge of War: Waterloo one of the best simulators
of Napoleonic warfare ever created.

on this feedback, most significantly the change to Free to Play to bring in more
players.
We've got the party hats out, as today is MrsBlue's birthday. We've got some
minor celebrations planned, and are thankful that this doesn't seem to be as
much of a conflict as it did at first, as although today is the last day of E3,
the show was so front-loaded most of the announcements were cleared up before it
even officially began.
