The CONSORTIUM free weekend
we mentioned on
Friday rolls along
on
Steam. This is actually more generous than we first reported, however, as
it's not just for this weekend. Word is "Anyone who gets the game from Steam
this weekend will keep the game in their library forever!" We're not sure if it
said that all along, or was later updated, but thanks to Acleacius for the heads-up. Here's a refresher on the game:

Well, the super-crazy football games yesterday certainly lived up to the advance
billing. Today's first game is already in progress, and so far doesn't look as
compelling, but if there's anything close to a comeback in that one, it will be
another for the ages. I do love the playoffs.
