An
interview on ALCHIMY chats with Dontnod co-founder Alain Damasio in their
native language, which is French. For those who don't parlez,
PCGamesN notes an important detail the pop up, as Alain seems to confirm
plans for a follow-up for
Life is Strange, the episodic adventure game.
Here's the quote on the topic they translated: "I worked as a script doctor on
Life is Strange, developed by the studio Dontnod, and I will participate on Life
is Strange 2 later." There's no indication at this point as to when later will
arrive.
During a Blizzcon stage presentation, Blizzard's Dustin Browder outlined plans
to implement a new matchmaking system in
Heroes of the Storm, Blizzard's
team brawler/MOBA.
Polygon recaps the talk, saying the plan is to introduce this within two or
three weeks, though he clarifies this is "an intent, not a promise," adding that
this project us currently their top priority. They have details on how the new
system differs from the old one, which emphasized expedience over fairness,
though it didn't succeed wildly in either direction. They quote Browder saying
the new system has created much fairer matches in their simulations, with
smaller differences between player ranks and more balanced character roles
across the board.

Autumn continues to be mild in these parts, and that almost doesn't do it
justice. I'm going to head out to Manstovia to grill up some burgers later, and
it may just be warm enough to eat outside too, though that may be pushing it. I
hope it's equally nice where you are.
